  1. Hello Panther, My brother and I got two hair transplants each from Dr. Radha. The first hair transplant, I received 3,700 grafts in the front half and on the second hair transplant, I received 2,400 grafts on the crown area. I also did not take medication/minox, since I wanted to see the real results of the transplant and since Dr. Radha said I did not need it. I am happy I received my hair transplant from Dr. Radha, but my hair still does look very thin. I think I received like 43 grafts/cm in the front and like 30 grafts/cm on the crown. It still looks very thin and I have to get another transplant. I got my first transplant in January 2014 and my second one in January 2015, so it has been some time. The positive side is that my hair looks natural, but thin. I want to get an FUE and BHT treatment with Dr. Bhatti or possibly Dr. Dua. I also looked at Doctors in Turkey. I do not want to save $1,000 on a HT, if my results will be iffy. There two other FUE Doctors in Turkey, but they are more expensive. Dr. Bhatti is on the top of my list with Dr. Dua right behind. I don't know about Dr. Soni. Let me know on who you decide to go with. I want to schedule my HT for August. Good luck with the growth.
  2. Hey Got, Glad to hear you got your HT with Dr. Radha. My brother and I also got our hair transplants with her in January 2014 (Jan. 23 and 24th). So far I am very pleased with the results, but I'm hoping for a lot more growth. My new hairline is all formed, but should hopefully start to fill in better. Dr. Radha, is great, she is a really nice person, very warm and kind. She also has a nice staff. It was a LONG journey for us, since I live in Houston, TX and my brother lives in Los Angeles, CA. It would have been nice if Dr. Radha was in Mumbai or Delhi, but I would travel even further to be in her good hands. I'm sure you had a long day there. Not sure what hotel you are staying at, but we stayed at the Godwin or something like that, across the street from St. George's Hospital. The price was right and the rooms were nice. Also there is a Domino's not too far away from Dr. Radha, which we tried. Try Jack Frost ice cream to cool off. I think you will be very pleased with the results. I have been meaning to make a blog, but I figured, it would be best to upload all my progress at once. Although, I will be going back to Dr. Radha for another treatment next January , so that I can get my crown area down. My hair transplant consisted of like 3,700 and some grafts. Too bad for me, but I have A LOT of single hairs on my scalp, but Dr. Radha did a WONDERFUL job in taking out a larger piece of scalp. I'm hoping for a lot more growth soon. Best of luck with your HT and I hope all is going well. I hope Dr. Radha is also doing well . She works really hard and she is dedicated. She starts in the morning and doesn't finish until the evening.

  4. Hello Everyone, I have been looking on this site for a long time. I really appreciate all the members information. I am looking to get a hair transplant soon, probably in the next several months. I am a IV and I have been under a lot of stress, which has caused additional amounts of hair loss. I am looking to get a transplant in either India or Pakistan. The three doctors that I am looking at are Dr. Humayun Mohmand of Pakistan, Dr. Radha Palakurthi of India and Dr. Pathuri Madhu. I have read good things on here about all three doctors. I am leaning to go to Pakistan because of the cost of the procedure and I have that Dr. Humayun is an excellent doctor. I was looking at the currency converter and right now 1 USD yields like 97 PKR and like 4 years ago 1 USD yielded like 80 PKR. I think I saw pricing on here several years ago and my calculations came to like 60 PKR per graft, but I'm not sure if this is right. The part that I am afraid of is the safety as an American in Pakistan. Although I have read some good reviews on how pick up at airport is arranged and even hotel, which is great. Has anyone gotten a HT by Dr. Humayun? How was your treatment? Were you picked up at the airport? Hotel? Cost? I am also looking at Dr. Radha and Dr. Madhu, who practice in India. I have read good reviews on both Doctors. I am not certain, but I think I saw pricing to be like 50 INR per graft and the current exchange rate is like 1 USD yields 55 INR, so like just under 1 USD per graft. I was looking to get feedback from you guys. Also, is anyone on here planning to go to India or Pakistan for a hair transplant in the next several months? I am looking to hopefully get more than 3,500 grafts in one treatment, it would be great if I could get 4,000 plus grafts.
