  1. Diffused loss, previous poor surgery, near 10k grafts and from 2015..so we are talking a long time ago when clinics were not per se doing large sessions as nowadays and also body hair used and a patient testimony that is full face. Rare case and very happy for the patient. Big thank you to the patient for coming for a check up with Dr.B and allowing us to use the material.
  2. They were all trained by Dr.Bisanga, and yes Dr.Kostis is DR KONSTANTINOS LAMPROPOULOS. BHR has no affiliation with HLC as such. Rafael and I work exclusively for BHR Clinic Brussels, albeit in different roles. BHR Israel and Greece have autonomy. They should if contacted directly be able to answer more for you for sure. Take care.
  3. I really appreciate you sharing all this and you seem very solid and grounded in the repair process now and the challenges that exist. I wish more shared as a deterrent to others and really admire the fact you have as it cannot be an easy thing to do...really wishing you all the best in this process. Steve.
  4. Thank you for this extensive write up and kind words. The work is clean as always and you are healing very well. Anything you need, let us know.
  5. Looking good! Thank you for sharing and looking forwards to the ongoing healing and result.
  6. Thank you for sharing this and look forwards to the progress..anything you need please let us know.
  7. So, we ask for the patient to wait for full growth, so then we can see what has grown in and also see if there any other irregularities in the skin etc. Then once a consultation is done we can see how much has grown and what needs to be addressed. We will not punch out every graft but need to give space in between punch-outs, this will help healing as we take and leave, take and leave for example..so not removing all grafts that are close together. Punch out the grafts, more so the lower ones, mis-angled and or doubles etc. Usually we try to re-use them and mostly we put them back into the donor as often with some poor surgery the donor can also be significantly affected with over harvesting or too concentrated with as one of the videos shows resulting in confluent scarring. Once the punch-outs are done, and each session is approx 2 to 3 months apart to facilitate skin healing, we can then rebuild a natural hair line. If there are skin issues, ridging or other, then the patient may wish to have some laser or other treatments to solve that first. If not then re-build a natural hair line for the patient. There are variations in that at times we may be able to camouflage the hair line if it is not too low and avoid some punch-outs but it depends on how low the hair line is and if it is wise to then go lower again. We will not punch out and rebuild in same session so as said it is often a journey and I know not easy but the patient will need to think longterm and step by step and not a one and done surgery. Another option for patients who do not wish for punch-outs is laser or electrolysis, but this again needs multiple sessions but is also a possible option. Try to be patient, I know not easy but the repairing clinic will need to see the full result and punch out once you have had this and then go from there. Please feel free to ask us for videos on this and we can send and also some results of repair surgery, behind the scenes footage, or Dr,Bisanga's commentary on his approach per se and we can email or send via a message to you if helpful.
  8. Yes it is heart breaking what we see now...my heart goes out to repair patients...I am glad we can help him and others and will do our best. Time is needed and as said on this thread very wisely also by Rahal and others, patients need to wait for growth to come in. It is not easy but very much needed and then assess and take things step at a time.
  9. Two of these videos are very new and no end result has been achieved yet and punch-outs are not one and done. One has not had removal at all so the purpose of these videos was assessment and showing punch-outs and as and when they have rebuilds then they can of course feel free to share, but we have also a lot of repair cases shown. It is important to get it right and why we seek to share these kind of videos as there are not enough of them and people sharing to help others. As for natural, thankfully we have a lot of patient posted cases on this forum with regularity and very happy patients who look natural and obviously happy enough to show their results and who they are openly, some even full face, so you should also look through the patient and clinic posted section. Above all, all the best in your growth and repair if needed. Be great to see your photos and hopefully you can get to where you want to get. Yes repair is complicated, choose wisely if you need more surgery.
  10. Looking good. For the fact you have given so much, full face, countless updates, openness and not afraid to show it as it is when it shocks and all you definitely should be a hall of fame patient.. I can see you are really enjoying your hair and that is what it is all about. Would love to know what your friends and family say...looking forwards to the updates.
  11. Some do experience donor pain that can kick in a few days post surgery and last week or so and is more prevalent at night. Your clinic will be able to advise but we say to patients to take pain killers, vit b complex can help for nerves and also apply cold aloe vera gel etc to help discomfort. It will pass and is common what you are experiencing. See your respective clinics for what they recommend but don't worry unduly as it is common for this timeline.
  12. Excellent outcome! Really happy for you and thank you for sharing such great material. You still have months ahead of you also for more to come and mature.
  13. We have surgery options with Dr.Bisanga exclusively or Dr.Kostis exclusively or shared option with both surgeons that many patients and results on here represent and also we have loads of consistent results that were and are Dr.B only surgery and far more patient posted results than most clinics. Both doctors punch all the grafts and cut all of the recipient sites and technicians place into them. Some clinics have more than one doctor and choices for the patient and so should not be deemed as we do not perform any Dr.B only surgery as said above and most of our repair work for example also heavily towards Dr.B. The patient has these options with us and can have Dr.Bisanga if they prefer. All the best in your choice and hope you can share your case and sorry if you were given the impression Dr.B does not do any surgery..I have videos and loads of them of him performing surgery from last month alone. @decan19
  14. Meds are okay for flying and usually any liquids are under the amount for confiscation. Travel pillow and shirts are good and sunglasses if you swell and if drops to your eyes and also a baseball cap or bandana if you want to cover for the flight. Take some clean latex gloves or mitts if you are worried about picking grafts while sleeping.. All the best!
