  1. Hi sdilse2 - I went to Dr Bhatti only 3 months ago, so I am still waiting on my full results, my experience was great and the price was. What I'd like to share with you about Dr Bhatti is, when I was there 5 HT surgeons from all around the world traveled there as observers, "to learn from the best" quoted one surgeon and the Italian surgeon said to me "he's one of the best in the world, thats why we're here." go to my home page and look at some of the photos, you can see the other Dr's watching me have my harvesting done. Unsure about the motorised punches, Dr Bhatti does everything by manual and has a fun yet very well trained team to assist. Feel free to PM for more details, take care seth
  2. Dr Bhatti quoted me $1.28 USD per graft, but the US dollar goes up and down so the quoted price would fluctuate accordingly...
  3. Hi David, Dr Bhatti is great you won't regret, 5 days you will probably still want to take a sicky, 4000 is a massive wak to your head and you will only want to avoid outdoors and contact with people, you will need to wear a daggy cap supplied by the clinic, you cannot have sun on your head for 3 weeks, there is daily treatment too for the first 14 days, if you can arrange not to go to work I would. Needless to say, enjoy your trip all the best
  4. Dr Bhatti rates around approximate here, 4000 fue - $1.30 USD per graft - $5200 accom & flights & Visa - approx $1500 total around $6500 - $6700 The Altius Hotel (where you stay $40 per night) is really nice, about 10mins in the car to the clinic, Dr Bhatti arranges picks ups from Hotel Airport etc, the driver is great lad. Chandigarh is along way from Dehli, 5-6 hours by car, or 1 hour by plane, I suggest booking the domestic transfer, extra $100 return this video explains the whole trip, its exactly what happens, **outside link removed**
  5. Hey Johnny, you are my inspiration mate. if it wasn't for you and Dr Bhatti i think i would be still feeling like shit... you photos look outstanding. Dr Bhatti and I have often spoken about where is Johnny gone? glad to see your back on line and thanks heaps for the updates
  6. HTIndia photos look fantastic. Perhaps the hairline is too high for a younger person, but looks great and i think looks quite natural and suited to his age. Looks like his donor area has plenty more to harvest therefore if he wanted to lower the hairline he could. But I would keep my donor area at its fullest incase in 5 years he needs to add more to the top area or crown, which i think Dr Batti would take into consideration before the HT procedure. To lower the hairline by 1cm, you would looking at 800 - 1000 grafts, FUE most people have maximum 5000 donor area, again this is also a factor with hairlines. Needless to say Dr Bhatti leaves the final decision up to the patients mind.
  7. Dr Bhatti is world class, I highly recommend him. I think Dr Bhatti under charges for his quality and service but his price seems to standard throughout India. My personal experience with him was amazing, his guidance, his manner and what he felt was the best result for me, made me feel I had made the right choice. I hope this helps, feel free to PM regarding more detail information about Dr Bhatti, happy to share and happy to help.
  8. Dr Bhatti is good, he knows his stuff and his staff are great, its a good little family environment there. You wont regret it.
  9. my vote is FUE, my reason is simple, for years I shaved my head at #1, really is the most mature way to deal with going bald, so whether or not you get a better thicker result with FUT, a scar is permanent and thus never shaving your head possible again. Therefore if my FUE transplant doesn't give a good result, Im out of pocket by $5000 only and I will go back to shaving my head. previously people would argue that FUT is far cheaper, well Dr Bhatti FUE clinic is actually cheaper than a lot of western FUT clinics and no scar!! BONUS Personally think FUT is barbaric and is ancient technique, FUE is the most up to date method, who knows in 10 years FUE will be the ancient technique and there will be some new and improved method.
  10. I made my decision based both on price and other results from forum members, I felt did a fair bit of research on Dr Bhatti's background, eventually siding with other forum members kind words about him and the price tag, I saved more than $15,000 with Dr Bhatti. Unfortunately I can't answer your question regarding African decent type hair I just dunno sorry mate, but I can say I was in his clinic this week (HT #2) and one of his patient looked like he was African, (rude in my opinion to ask a stranger where he is from). Finally I need to add this, I found it quite amazing and reassuring that during my first HT with Dr Bhatti, there was the other 5 surgeons from around the world who have come to his clinic to learn and observe from him, "He's one of the best in the world." quoted the Italian surgeon. Any way all the best I hope you get a nice successful result in the future.
  11. my experience with Dr Bhatti was amazing, im currently at week 10 post op, if you like to know in detail my trip have a read on my page or simply PM for any questions you might want to know, happy to help
  12. Dr Bhatti harvested 3000 graft FUE session on me in a single day, 730am start 6pm finish, was a killer of day.....
  13. Dr Bhatti's is great, I highly recommend his whole clinic,
  14. I've living in Bangkok for 4 years, I found that the clinics are cheaper in India by almost 3 times, FUE in Bangkok is about $3 per graph, India $1.30 per graph, I went to see Dr Bhatti in Chandigarh, I was almost about to have the HT in BKK but saved myself alot of money,
  15. Hey there, feel free to have a look at my frontal hair line done by Dr Bhatti, Im only 10 weeks since having my FUE, 1500 graphs for front line, I'm really happy I went ahead with the transplant, unsure where or why you have heard bad things about his clinic, I've been nothing but over joyed by every part of the trip. anyway take care, and if you go with Dr Bhatti tell him his lame jokes are funny, from Seth Hair Restoration Social Network ? Community for and by Hair Loss Patients
  16. being that this will be HT #2, I'm so much more exciting, first time around I was so shit scared, so many unknowns, so many nerves, and then I was a little let down when Dr Bhatti said he was only prepared to harvest 3000, after I had budgeted for 4000+ as I had saved and sacrificed for so long to feel let down at the finish line, tough to accept but now fully pumped for the next HT, and if this new job arises starting november, just perfect timing for everything. like most of us losing hair, depression leads to so many miss opportunities in life. Dr Bhatti has been some what of a life saver for me, I seriously doubt I would have been able to save for HT unless I had discovered Dr Bhatti and Darling buds team...
  17. I had originally planned to have 4000+ transplant, but once there Dr Bhatti said I had a small head (which I do and the photos I sent him were hard to tell) so he was not prepared to harvest any more than 3000. So we agreed on a 2nd HT about 9 months later. Due to new and unforeseen work commitments I seriously doubt I will be free in 9 months, so I asked Dr Bhatti is there any chance bringing the 2nd HT forward, to which he said no problem. Traveling is fine for me, as I am either in Bangkok (4 hours away) or Australia, which I will do a stop over in Bangkok anyway. Cost is minimal, so no real dramas, other than recovery time AGAIN!! Regarding the Hotel, I did have issues with the Internet, but showed emails to the front desk saying I had unlimited access, which solved the problem for a few more hours, until they sent the IT guy who actually set me up full access, but really hanging to eat their butter chicken again.
  18. I also went to Dr Bhatti, 7 weeks ago, 3000 graphs, 1500 front line 1500 crown. I stayed in the same hotel, although I had no complaints and the food was amazing, Since then pretty much all my implants have fallen out, its kind of sucks, Im unaware how many hairs feel out or graphs, day 14 i had my first proper shower and dabbed my head and looked there were 20 or so graphs, also i was taking meds prior to the transplant and have found due to post op care and the use of less meds and using 2% minioxidol the hair i had grown back has fallen out, which really sucks, needless to say im heading back to Dr Bhatti in 4 weeks time for my second proceedure to fill in the top, hoping for another 2000. any way all the best !!
  19. Hey Realdeal777, I suggest 14 days minimum after FUE HT, regardless of what Dr's or promotional videos say. WHY? its a combination of the constant itchy and fragile state your implants are in that you would simply want to avoid in any kind of normal day to day life. There is quite a lot of post care needed in the first 14 days. A good couch and a bunch of new DVDs is all you will want to do. I have not heard of Dr Hakan in Turkey, I went to India and Dr Bhatti was my surgeon. He was amazing. The whole trip was awesome from the pick up from the airport, the hotel and of course the HT, I saved myself 10k USD with Dr Bhatti. take care all the best Sethticles
  20. I had a HT with Dr Bhatti 7 days ago, amazing experience, I was expecting to extract 4000 but he said only 3000, and then wait 2 years and come back and get another 1500 - 2000 extracted, what I am trying to say that Dr Bhatti is a realist, a very honest and respectable Dr, highly recommend him. You wont regret it, Im sure he'll work some long term plan for you as well. He is now specialising in BHT / FUE so I am sure he can get a decent look for you, and help you get over your depression, hang in the buddy
