  1. 3 time Rahal FUE patient here (2014 frontal zone, 2015 vertex, 2017 crown) - very satisfied with my results, Dr. Rahal and team are amazing from start to finish - Dr. Wong was at the top of my list as well, actually had a consultation and recommendation from Joe Tillman when he was still working for H&W at the time - I'm sure I would have been just as satisfied with H&W however they were not doing FUE at that time
  2. why would having a short haircut cause any problem with the hairline design?
  3. I really am impressed with Dr Demirsoy's work, especially the natural and conservative restoration of the hairline. I've seen way too many examples from Turkey of FUE mega-sessions wasting way too many grafts on unrealistic, overly aggressive, top-loaded hairlines. Yours looks aesthetically perfect! Best of luck healing and growing - you should have an excellent result.
  4. cut your really short before the procedure and go to work that way so there is no "surprise" after the procedure and people get used to your new look - believe me, you're more subconscious of how your hair looks than people really care - they may look up at your head and stare once or twice and wonder what you did, but then that's it, they're not constantly thinking of you, people have their own lives and problems to think about - once you figure that out - you realize there is nothing to be worried about. and 3 weeks after your procedure, you'll be pretty healed up, your native hair will have started growing back and you will look fine
  5. its a good result considering your level of hair loss/baldness in the frontal third - to achieve your goal more density up front, it is more than reasonable that a 2nd pass would be necessary
  6. i don't think any FUE scarring completely fades away - in donor or from excision at the hairline - its a matter of how much or how little they are noticeable to the naked eye and each individual's physiology for scarring
  7. there is nothing to fear but fear itself - pain is less than going to dentist's office for a general cleaning! and the drugs you get before procedure starts literally knocks you out - I was asleep probably 3/4 of the time. you're taking a leap of faith, but if you select a reputable surgeon, the entire staff will be making sure you're comfortable throughout the procedure
  8. love how he kept the restoration within your native, natural hairline - looks amazing.
  9. most docs or clinics don't even bother removing old grafts, instead they accept where that old hairline begins and transplant in front and behind it, whether the hairline is odd or too low, which seems insane to me, so seeing Dr. Feriduni take the time to actually "repair" and properly restore your hairline - which is the most important part of the transplant, says alot about his ethics and skills! thanks for responding
  10. hairline design looks amazing, should be a great result! best wishes on your healing and eventual growth
  11. they usually don't shave the back donor region for strip, just the area what will be excised, but as for the recipient zone, i'm assuming you didn't get any grafts in between existing hairs? otherwise that entire recipient zone would have been shaved to address miniaturization and avoidance of graft dissection... Dr. Cooley's work is so impressive! congrats
  12. temple recession was VERY noticeable preop, he only had a 2k graft band to the hairline in a very natural and conservative manner that will serve him well for a lifetime - the end result is fantastic ....
  13. Either Rahal or Hasson & Wong in Canada, both doing excellent FUE work
  14. looking great, continued success. how does the forehead look up close from the removal of the old grafts from your original HT? the pics show no sign of scarring, do you notice anything up close? i've always wondered about excision of oddly placed grafts up front in the hairline and whether or not its noticeable
  15. very interesting case buddy! hairline design and work looks very good, heal and grow well, congrats
  16. there are some results - like this one - that just speak for themselves (amazing)
  17. Based on post op images and hairline design, looks like Dr. Diep work to me.
  18. Two of the best HT doctors on the planet - both clinics offer excellent post-op care. I had 3 FUE procedures with Rahal because that's what my gut told me to go with. I was most comfortable with his conservative plan for my specific situation. I also think his hairlines are superbly natural. I had gotten an online consult with Dr. Wong of H&W at the time. But to be honest, I would not have doubts having gone with either Hasson or Wong - they're a top tier premier clinic. Its all about who you feel most comfortable with. Both Rahal or Hasson will be excellent for traditional strip surgery, I believe its just FUE is just more popular now. I needed a larger strip mega session, however I had minimal time off, needed to get back to work, etc. so I opted for FUE. Best of luck in your journey.
