  1. I wish I could count them but I can tell you this. My results spoke for themsevles. My best friend recently decided to give it a go and I'm coming along for support. Perhaps, I'll ask doctor Bhatti how many are left and I'll make sure he posts a writeup.
  2. I'm a bit late to the party but there isn't even a comparison between FUE and FUT. FUE is clearly the best method around. I've had my procedure done with Dr. Bhatti and have absolutely 0 scars.....none. Here is a link to a thread with my experience with Dr. Bhatti. Below are the results in pictures. If my memory serves me correctly, it's been about 3 years now and not a day goes by that I'm not glad I've had the procedure. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/169005-hair-restoration-procedure-w-dr-tejinder-bhatti.html
  3. Sorry for the delay. Here is my crown picture I took today (a few years after the procedure).
  4. I'll dig through my collection and post it. If not, I'll take some.
  5. Time for a 2.5 year update I'll make this quick, short, and to the point. Best money I have ever spent. The biggest lesson learned to date? Use Rogaine post-treatment to sustain results as recommended by Dr. Bhatti. The reason why I say lesson is because I didn't for a while and saw a bit of thinning. I'll let the pics do the talking as to where things stand today including a comparison with the original shot I took prior to surgery.
  6. The difference may be in the travel cost associated with the time of the year.
  7. That's correct. I just let it grow after the procedure. More pics coming up.
  8. That's an interesting point as I too wanted a lower hair line. Dr. Bhatti said that there was nothing worse than someone knowing you had "work done" and took my ethnicity and age into consideration. I can tell you that while I was skeptical of the rationale at first to this day I have not had a single person tell that I had any work done. On the contrary, no one believes me when I tell them
  9. My flight was cheaper by about $400 and I paid a little less per graft. I also took a car from and to Dehli, which cut the cost down by a $100. I don't want to sound dismissive, but at the end of the day as you said it yourself, you are saving 10-20K so trying to pinpoint where each dollar is going to be spent may be of limited value at this time.
  10. I did. Apologies for not posting it yet. I'll take a few pics and upload them within the next couple of days.
  11. Me having a bad hair day..........never though I would say that again.
  12. Some say pictures are worth a thousand words.....hence, I'll let them do the talking...
  13. Are you referring to your original hairline? I too had same questions about my hairline, but one thing Dr Bhatti assured me is that the worst mistake you can make is for it to look fake. Dr Bhatti takes into consideration your age and ethnicity while going through the consultation. This is important. I remember taking the marking tool and drawing what I thought was the "right" hairline. After a thorough discussion I agreed to trust him on the decision. Let me just say that it was the right thing to do as NO ONE can tell I had a transplant. Additionally, the way I look at it is that I can always get more or an adjustment should you really dislike it (which I am sure you won't) but it's impossible to go the other way once you put too much of it up front.
  14. Thanks. It did wonders for my self confidence and literally changed my life. More pics coming soon.
  15. Here is an updated picture roughly 3 months after the procedure.
  16. Adam, I went through Travisa Outsourcing and applied for a 180 day tourist via. Everything cost about $100. pradeepkr, I'll dig through some pics and should be posting some soon. Left and right patterns are different to look natural yet proportionate and def not a concern.
  17. Yea. I was not a fan of the drive but the connecting flight was too close of a call and my procedure was already scheduled. I agree that taking a connecting flight would have been a better option but this was a small burden to pay for the desired product. I'll post some additional pics next week to show progress.
  18. GNX1, I see you got your answer about the new facility. Also, you make some excellent points in your post. Personally, I think that the tools used are only as good as the hands they're in. For me, the end result (provided there is no scarring and adverse effects) is the benchmark for success. Attaching a few pics close to one week after procedure. I can now say that despite being able to return to work 2-3 days after the procedure, I would recommend full 7 days before returning to work. This time will minimize the "shock" factor of your co-workers and make the transition a little smoother. This is not to be confused with the ability to do actual work and function, which for me stayed unaffected even immediately after the procedure. Regards....
  19. The James Harris puncher Is very good. It does not get hot and consequently, damage the roots. In turn, this results in a higher yield. I will post some pics soon.
  20. I chose the first package at 1.3USD per graft. I am very optimistic about the outcome, but will let the pictures do the talking as time progresses. Everything described in the package was just as promised. There were no "gotchas." The personal attention I received throughout the process was amazing. As I mentioned before, Dr, Bhatti currently offers an unbeatable price/quality proposition. This may be the reason why his demand is forcing him to open up a brand new facility 4x the size of the existing clinic.
  21. Thanks. I will be updating this thread periodically (monthly) to show progress.
