  1. thanks for the advice but i dont realy want to go with the makup route as its just more hastel and makup and hair dont go all that well together and people would know i was covering something up drawing more attention to the area
  2. ive tried tea tree in the past with things its good as an anti-bactirial agent but doesnt seem to do much for scaring/inflamation. im doing ok i havent noticed any vast improvments since my last pic i uploaded so i will leave it till the 5 month stage before uploading again then i can compare, its just this anoying redness and these small lumps on the recipiant site, im just worried that it will never improve and i will be left red and scarred for a long time, i know for sure im going to have to have something done at the 12 month stage as not just is it uneven but there are noticable gaps that i havent seen any actuvity in whatsoever also some grafts on the bottom of the hairline are faceing outwards, downwards and all other silly directions rather than upwards like most of the hairline, i dont know who is to blame for that(tech or doc) but its damm anoying that you pay so much and go to 1 of the ''top docs'' so to speak and dont get what you paid for
  3. hi yes its for me as in certian lighting redness is quite visible still and want it to return to skin tone as soon as possible thanks
  4. Just dont bother tanning its not worth the risk, the rays from the sun do not do the skin any good apart from 20 mins in the sun to up your vitamin D levels, but realy if any area is trying to heal its best to keep that area out of the sun, you could take a natural anti inflammatory product such as NEW CHAPTER ZYFLAMEND its realy good for reduced redness and blochiness of the skin and you can get hold of it quite easy, i used to use it when i suffered from inflamation due to acne in the past and worked wonders, having acne actualy made me know quite alot about the skin and its healing although i always try to learn more by asking questions like you have, personly i am very light skinned also i live in the U.K i had 2500 Grafts arround my NW1 NW2 areas and i would certainly not give yourself 1 month to heal atall as i am 4 months and still a little red. there is too much money going into what your having done so not worth risking anything silly like tanning, also tanning thickens up the skin and makes it harder for the doc to make your recipiant sites so all in all it might be worse becuase the doc might have to use more force to make the sites causing more trama to the area, Best advice i could give you is if you decide to have it done is go to google type in ''skin foods'' and follow a diet witch includes as many of those skin helping foods as possible. also there is a good copper peptide product aswell thats made to help speed up HT healing im sure someone will post after me and tell you what its called i know its a little expensive. or follow the coverup route like CuriousJungleGeorge said, i actualy told people i had a scalp infection due to working with some harsh chemicles doing some DIY and never told anyone i had HT and everyone belived me. just remember SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE there isnt any shortcuts but with what i have said above will help asmuch as possible, all you may even me one of those people who heals super fast as some people heal with a couple weeks and others like me dont, it all depends on the number of grafts also.
  5. Hi Guys i want to know what can help speed up the redness on the hairline from the FUE graft sites, what creams are safe to use? natural treatments? copper peptides? i want to know the best possible way to speed things up without hindering growth, Fucidin H is out of the question as it hinders growth if over used so not touching that stuff. sticking more to natural products or products that have been proved not to harm grafts thanks

  7. thanks Hairhope, i cant help but look in the mirror after having a HT i dont think anyone can, about finding a girl i already have 1 lol but i never told her i had a HT i made up a story and said i got a scalp infection lol, if it wernt for the wonky hairline i dont think anyone would be suspicious.
  8. post opp for the first month i was covered in spots horrable whiteheads and also red spots all over my face was not nice already looking like a burn victim on my head i looked even worse, i was told this is commmen after surgery and to drink more water, it cleared up after a month but while using monixodil i still get the odd few, arround the hairline and top forhead
  9. i did that lol and look ware it got me Armani gave me a wonky hairline and i chose them on that basis

  14. oh right the armani clinic told me that the foam wasnt as effective do you have the link from the studdy as i would consider swapping to foam if thats true
  15. i was told that the faom isnt as good as the liquid form becuase it doesnt absorb as good, but its better to have faom than nothing
  16. Just dont smoke if you can help it the smoke rises up and fills your breathing space with toxins etc all that nasty stuff cant be good arround the hair, if you can help not smoking then dont smoke but also if stopping puts you in a state of stress and anxiety then that can also cause problems so it would of been best to try and quit before you have a hair transplant or make sure you only smoke outside so the wind blows the smoke away from your head
  17. this is safe to use if its a natural no additive product etc, just check to see if it has artificial sweetners etc, sweetners are bad for health in genral the total affects are unknown, but protien/amino acid shakes are good for the hair also aid in skin healing, so eat asmuch protien and aminos as you like but if its an all in one shake just take a little caution becuase of aditives but all in all you should be fine taking it
  18. I was told NOT to use this becuase its to harsh on the grafts, i personly just use a little johnsons baby shampoo now and again i dont wash the hair every day not a good idea
  19. go to google and type in ''Detective Stabler hair transplant'' and look at the first post listed as IMDB but dont open the post as it wont show anything just look at the txt from the search the names Detective Stabler and Dr Bosley mentioned in the same sentence lol
  20. i dont belive for 1 moment tom cruise, brad pitt has had a HT there hairlines are far to natural looking even tho they are perfect, im a big fan of both the actors and there heads have never changed between filmography, Stallone is obviously one of those who has has 1 also if you have seen jackie brown latly check out the oldish dude who helps jackie steel the money, he has had 1 done without a doubt you can see the pluggy look, back to the point anyways, when i was sat in the chair having my holes punched i asked dr armani if he does many celebs i aslo added to him im not asking for names becuase i know your not allowed to say, he replied that he does get the big guys come in once every couple of months and said they pay the BIG BUCKS as he put it, he also added he doesnt take any of his tech team with him, only he and his sister do the entire process, thats what he said... alos he added at the end of the conversation, i treat everyone the same and give everyone the same attention he said that everyone is equal in regards to how much effort is put in, his words not mine lol
  21. hi yes i also contacted miguel about that cream before he left the armani clinc and he told me not to use it just yet leave it a while and if you still have redness then let us know, aslo 1 of the other reps told me that the cream is ok in moderation and did tell me on its affects of the grafts as it can hinder growth if you dont get the right balance, my first question was does this cream affect growth i can post part of the email infact: The use of Fucidin H will assist the removal of the redness as it reduces any inflamation and promotes skin renewal. The thinning of the skin is actually a detrimental point as corticosteroids can take away the plumpness of the skin and will remove layers which does not help graft growth and may delay some of the growth. It is about finding the right balance.
  22. Hi CuriousJungleGeorge I Proply would of gone for strip if i had known the benifits before hand, also if you click on my BlOG witch is above my pic of Balboa then you will see at the bottom the pic of me before also i cant say how much i piad as a contract was made about that. about the grwoth yes im sure alot more hairs are to show up as im not even 4months yet and everyday i can see it improving, my 2 main concerns are the DESIGN and the BUMPS, im sure armani will offer strip again at some point in the future if all the negatives keep putting people off going there for FUE Also i will add this: this is a reply from Dr Bisanga about the hairline and options Dr. Bisanga has had a chance to look at your case, the first comment he made is that although he appreciates and understands your concerns it is too early at present to really give you a realistic idea what can be done specifically. That said, we can discuss the possibilities, Dr. B wants to know your age also please. You do not want to lower your hair line further, that is a good thing and you discuss maybe removing some of the grafts to even up the design and this may be a possibility; FUE extraction tool can remove the grafts and not leave any scarring, the problem is sometimes this will not remove all the grafts in one procedure, this is because some will be in a "sleeping" stage and just not visible. Also to do this you will have to wait for certainly another 4 months maybe longer with the growth rates Armani has shown and I have seen. These grafts when removed can then be reused elsewhere to balance the hair line. Another problem is having to recreate the hair line because when we remove the frontal hair line we will be removing probably mostly singles hair grafts and this will expose the larger multiple hair FU and then the hair line will look pluggy, so we will have to go into the area further, remove some of the larger groups and then totally redesign the area; this can create the problem when we remove the FU it will obviously create a punch hole that has to heal and this will hinder placing new hair close to the area, so again it may not be possible to achieve the "total" result in one procedure.
  23. I contacted my rep from the clinic about those bumps this is what he said: Don`t worry, the bumps are minor and will fade after time. If you have some Fucidin H cream left apply some to the area after you have applied the Minoxidil (allow the Minoxidil 20 minutes to dry). Do this twice a day for 2 weeks and it may help improve. The pimples will fade after a while, I had them also. Sometimes its a slight reaction to the Minoxidil itself I found, so make sure the solution doesn't go on the forehead/face ??“ just the grafted area This is what Dr Bisanga said as i contacted another doctor for his own opionion on the Uneven area and the BUMPS The changes to your scalp do not look normal to be honest, looks like either the slit making or placement was not done correctly, is this localised to that area or is it generally across the entire area that was transplanted? Yes it could make a difference to the placement of the new grafts, hopefully it will relax a little over the months and sometimes if in areas we would remove hair when the hair is removed the "holes" go over time as the skin returns to normal @Mr GU i noticed the bumps after the scabs were gone and i could see my scalp, im not 100% sure on when i noticed the bumps to be honest but it wasnt too much longer after the scalp was visable i will look back at some of my 1M pics to check, but the bumps tend to be more at the lower side than the other, also i dont have a boxers nose lol i think its just the pics i do have a wider nose rather than pointy but its never been broken as of yet lol. i do a little amature fighting now and again at a local club nothing major
