  1. So I decided to just keep in eye on my hair and in the last 7 months and I haven't seen any real change (I've attached a few pictures for comparison). Everything looks about the same so I think it might just be my natural Whorl. I'm thinking about still visiting the dermatologist because my scalp has been breaking out (almost like pimples on my scalp) and has become incredibly itchy. It also has been causing some increased shedding (though nothing that has affected my hair quality or density). I have no idea what is causing it and it happens very sporadically. @Dan: I haven't taken any medications (before or after the photos). I wanted to wait and see if there was any change before I went to the dermatologist or started taking any medications. Again, I think I'm just going to keep monitoring it and recheck everything every now and then to see if there is any change.
  2. Here are some better pictures taken under a bright light.
  3. One day when I was looking in the mirror i noticed a spot on the top back of my head (I never look at the back of my head, so I'm not sure if this is out of the ordinary). I noticed that the spot is the Whorl in my hair, I was just trying to figure out if this is a normal Whorl or hair loss. There has been no thinning of my hair or any receding hair line in the front of my scalp. Also there is no exposed scalp where the Whorl is, it just easier to see the scalp through the hair. No one in my family has hair loss. We do all have fine hair. I was just wondering if this looks like a normal Whorl, or should I worry about hair loss.
