  1. Hi everyone I'm 24 and I've been on propecia for 6 months I've taken a photo of my scalp everday to see whether propecia works. No positive or negative change so far but premature graying of hair especially on sides.None of my 3 brothers who are above 30 don't have so much gray hair.I expect %70-80 graying when I become 30 with this speed. When I look at photos of 6 months ago, I had little white hair. My question is İs there anybody else who experienced this or is there any study that found the premature greying as side effect of finasteride. thanks
  2. Hi guys, I've learned lots of new things about hair transplants thanks to this society so far and I have some questions which I'm seeking answer about strip procedures which I'm interested in 1-May Scalp laxity affect the quality of the yield? (I don't mean number of grafts) 2-Does thickness of scalp skin affect quality of the yield in any way? 3-Does scalp laxity decrease with each new surgery if patient's scalp is tight? (Will scalp become tighter with each successive procedure or Does it return to normal after several months?) 4-İf someone has more than one strip procedures , will his scar become larger with each new strip? or Do surgeons remove hairless skin with new strip? 5-İs number of strip procedures for a patient with very tight scalp limited compared to someone with loose scalp? ( İs 5x1500 grafts instead of 4000+3500 grafts possible? Any answer or experiences would be greatly appreciated!
  3. your hair looks good to me , may be sides are bit thinner and you look very young for 6000 grafts.I wonder where were you on norwood scale before surgery.
  4. I was wondering the same thing. There is still hair on my temples and frontal third. My originial hair color is brown but these remained hairs are finer and yellowish colored.İf I lose these hairs because of transplant I'll return to where I started in the end.this really scares me.I dont want to accelerate hairloss
  5. Dr. Bhatti, When I shaved my hair with a clipper, I see that some hairs are thicker and darker the others are finer and lighter in color. Are thicker ones anagen hairs? And suppose that you harvested anagen hairs, will ramaining hairs in donor area be as thick as harvested hairs in the future? And lastly Do you use motorized punch to harvest grafts? Thanks.
  6. Will these hairs be dht resistant? İf not, I think hair transplants will remain as the only worthwhile solution to hairloss for me.
  7. Hi JohnJohnB, Did finasteride lose efficacy after so many years? I'm in a similar condition but I'm 24 and started medication recently.I'm planning a hairtransplant in two years and dr path is on top of my list.I find your goal very achievable so I'll follow your case very closely. Good luck to you
  8. I'm not expert but I saw Dr Tejinder Bhatti's good fue works in results page.you may want to look at his results
  9. my hairloss started when I was 15-16.it was very very agressive.I thought I would be totally bald NW6-7 when I become 25 .I was losing 250+ hairs a day.it was like raining hair then my hairloss slowed down and nearly stopped by itself .I'm now 24 and still between NW 2-3.there is miniaturization on top, little hairloss.I started finasteride 2 months ago.I dont expect to grow hair, just want to keep what I have.Frankly I dont blame Dr. Mohebi for what he did.Hairloss can even cause a teenager to commit suicide. At least it dragged me to deep depression which I couldnt recover until this age.I became an unsocial guy spending all his time on internet forums seeking help for hairloss.Even if this guy's hairloss evolve to NW6 in the near future, doctor is using his available donor reserve instead of waiting for him to be NW6 and ruining his life slowly and painfully. At least doctor gives him a chance to live with a hairline until he becomes 30...10 years later when he become NW6 with 3 prior HT surgeries this guy can grow some hair to thicken his sparse transplanted hair thanks to new stemcell treatments.
  10. your hairloss pattern is similar to mine.I was said I have 6000-7500 grafts in reserve for fue and I'll need at least 2500 + ... for good density on the frontal third by some of the best surgeons in this site.but I'm a bulky guy and have big head so I think 2500 grafts would be enough for you
