  1. I recentley saw this minoxidl solution on Ebay called Maxogain. Obviously at first I was a bit suspicous but was drawn towards it due to it being PPG free. The pictures they post are complete cr*p if you ask me so I'm realistic in my expectations. Has anyone used this product and had success? Anyone know if theres actually any minoxidl in the solution? I need to find a PPG free solution because I'm allergic to it.
  2. I recently started using a no PPG minoxidl solution and touch wood my irritation/reaction has stopped. In regards to revita I'm unsure whether I'm a fan. I like the shampoo but I'm not sure whether I have seen any results to justify it or try something else like revivogen. I'm nearly out so need to order more just seeing has anyone else used revita for a while and seen great results or shall I try something different?
  3. Do you know if they would be willing to send to UK? I have looked into spectral DNC which is supposed to use a lower amount compared but still unsure.
  4. After trying Kirkland Minoxidl again, my irritation I got carried on, this was using the foam and the solution. I have read around the internet about people having the same reaction due to sensitive skin and due to the level of PPG in the Kirkland products. Can anyone recommend a good minoxidl which has much less PPG/none at all. I have been looking at DS Labrotories spectral one with nanoxidl instead, but not sure if it has PPG in as well? Can anyone recommend a good product bearing in my mind my skin is sensitive.
  5. I have seen the earlier you begin to try and slow the process and take medication the better response you have. Fingers crossed its not too late for me yet haha
  6. Fortunately my crown is in good condition like most the males in my family but it is the receeding hairline where my problem is. This is the most frustrating as I know minoxidl are not supposed to be effective for this area of hairloss. Genuinely hoping this shampoo will just slow the effects. I'd be alright with it in a few years just being 21 its a bit of a downer like I'm sure many men are in same situation. I may use propecia if hair loss rate increases.
  7. I definately seem to think there has been improvement as my hair is looking thicker, though i don't know whether this is because of the nature of the shampoo which it makes hair stand up and appear thicker. Only been using for 3 weeks now so I know I can't expect to see any new hair grown until as I know it can take up to 6 months before this may be noticeable (fingers crossed it works and is sooner ), really hoping it can help my receeding hairline or just slow the loss down. So far very impressed and am seriously considering giving the nioxin spray they have developed a go, if when I try minoxidil again and it still gives me irritation I will give it a go. I am unsure whether I have an a reaction to the minoxidil or when i used my scalp was quite irratated so really hoping a second try now my scalp is healthy because of revita. I did look at propecia but the side effects (mainly loss in sex drive) really put me off. How have your side effects been to the drug? Anything noticeable?
  8. After reading into Revita i was impressed. After getting irritation I am looking at this in hoping it reduces my hairloss and if good I may give their hair loss spray a try. Anyone had any experience/success stories? Anything I should take as a good sign/bad sign?
  9. I was using the liquid and then got the reaction so changed to the foam. I am hoping the foam will be ok in the future and that it may be because I didn't let my scalp heal enough. Looking to try again come June but is a long time away so looking for useful alternatives even if its just for retention and not growth.
  10. After having successful 4 months of kirland minoxidl i started to get a very dry itchy scalp which then started to go red. It cleared up and i stayed off it for around 3 months and tried again waking up to a red patch again (tested in a certain area). After researching I think it is safe to say I am allergic to the minoxidl and firstly thought it was the house I have been renting (student) and was just a change in environment. I will test again, but wait until I'm back home and then make my mind up. I am 21 and my receeding hairline is beginning to be highly noticeable but also thinning on top. If older I wouldn't be bothered but as I am young I'd like to get a few good years out of it haha. With the allergies I was wondering if anyone knew of the best shampoo to combat and had real experience. I did try alpecin a few years ago but felt it made my hair thinner, though I didn't give it a full 4 months like I did with minoxidl. Are any of the others good? And what ones would you recommend? Along with shampoo is there anything else anyone knows being effective. Without minoxidl I have come to terms my receed is unlikely to start growing back like i had in the 4 month of minoxidl (just my luck, hairloss and then the solution I am allergic to) , but more wanting to find something to slow down the whole shed and make my hair all over thicker. Anyone that can help id be grateful.
  11. Unfortunately my scalp was that sore even when using the foam I've had to stop using for now. Want to make sure my scalp is fully heeled before trying again as on the can it states not too use on irritated skin. The foam was much more practical however just gutted I can't use to see if the results I was getting from the liquid worked. Was originally intending to use foam in the day, and liquid at night. Did you experience the flaking straight away? or a few months in like me? I seriously hope my case is due to the difference of water, but thinking that will be highly unlikely
  12. After buying the foam and trying it, it still seems to have the same effect, aka the weeping of the skin, and red patch around my scalp. I think I could deal with it, as I feel once back home it will be fine again. However would the burning and irritation cause to further hair loss? Is it recommended to stop completely and carry on once again when back home or to brave it out and maybe only use once a day instead? Will be going to the doctors in a weeks time to see if they can recommend what might be the problem.

  14. Okay I am hoping this is the reason, and that the foam will prevent irritation. I was using liquid for 4 months without irritation, so it may be just because a change of products I'm using. Debating going back to my old routine and see whether this changes anything.
  15. Have you found that even though the foam has become liquid that the irritation is still no problem? I bought foam the other day so hoping for the best. In regards to your problem if its coming out as foam I have read that if you run your hands under cold water first and then dry them as heat will cause the foam to turn to liquid. By having cold hands it should hopefully stay in foam form. Was gutted when the liquid began to cause irritation as it has become so bad there is just no way of using it and putting up with it.
