  1. This is great. Awesome recap of their offices and great photos.
  2. I've used fiber concealers for about 10 years and personally have never experienced any kind of respiratory or breathing problems. But each may react differently I suppose.
  3. I'm no expert but I know I itched like crazy for a couple months afterwards. I'd say you're fine but give your doc a call. My doc had me spray my head all of the time with saline solution to keep the scalp moisturized and to encourage the scabs to fall off naturally. I wouldn't shampoo everyday, no need for any head to shampoo every day, and it sounds like a reaction to the shampoo with dryness.
  4. Like any good American, I'm a big fan of Matt Damon and I definitely think his hairline has slowly thinned out since his younger days. Maybe it will stop there but doubtful. But he'll have no problem remedying it.
  5. Awesome, i'll check out his work for sure. That's great, I hope you find a ton of success with it. I'd agree with your assessment for sure on Dr. K.
  6. Thanks a lot JohnnyD. I really appreciate it, i'd say it's a testament to Konior studying the rest of my hair (on the sides) and truly trying to match the density and placement. It's now back to where it's supposed to be. I still look back to this shot just to remember how stringy and rough it really was at. Keeps me grateful that I found the right Doc for me. Also, it looks like I'm a redhead but the color in that room is just really warm.
  7. Am I the only one that gets completely confused because of the vastly high amount of users who use this avatar? It really messes me up when I'm having communication with people because their identity blends together. Just a rant, but the default images bork with my brain. If it were up to me there would be no default avatar images so people would be inclined to upload their own image (not necessarily of themselves, but any original graphic.)
  8. Fair enough, though that logic doesn't quite hold up since there's far more women who are dating/married to non-famous men than famous men.
  9. Yeah, this would be categorized as my late entry to my 9 month. So technically it's 10 months now that I think of it. Somewhere I got my months mixed. I'll make the text update, thanks bud.
  10. My vote is for dramatic transformations. Well said.
  11. I wanted to take some 10-month shots with my hair wet/damp after a shower as well as show the differences with fine-tooth brushes and wide-tooth combs. I have curly hair and I've chosen to keep the length long while I have a fade cut on the sides (hence my profile pic.) All of these shots were taken under direct light from above, and shortly after a shower. I'll try to have my wife photograph closeups of scar later. Just have to look really close. 10 Months - Wet w/ Brush Fine-tooth brush combed back, shortly after shower, under direct light. 10 Months - Wet w/ Comb to Back Wide-tooth comb to the back 10 Months - Wet w/ Comb to the side with part
  12. Indeed, it's best to know all of the facts, pros and cons of both methods.

  16. Agreed, and the same reasons why I went with FUT. I sensed that if Konior's and H&W's results came with regular complaints and side effects, they would be compelled to change their method. But their continued practice reflect positive results. And for me personally, I would actually elect for a numb scalp in the donor zone if it mean I'd have these results.
  17. Ha, well said. I wasn't meant for the shaved look, scar or no scar. Yeah, it's a good overall point too, men who expect any hair transplant to give them their hair and endless options for legnths and style may have expectations that outweigh their possibilities.
  18. Just to confirm, you've since shaved your head after your FUT and FUE transplants?
  19. Our discussion was much more extensive than a mere statement, but I was paraphrasing, and he was talking about a shaved head. If someone wants to shave their head after a transplant, by all means go for it. I'm not sure why. And if FUE is their answer, go for it. His point being that a shaved head will still reveal FUE scarring and to just go with a shaved head rather than spend thousands for a hair transplant. For me, I had not seen FUE results that convinced me to not go with Dr. Konior, and I scoured the internet for years for information. Additionally, as a Konior patient I have not experienced any of those side effects with the FUT he provided me, (numbness, misaligned hair direction). I shaved the side of my head down to a 1 without any reveal of a strip scar, I can't find it even when I look for it. I know other doctors don't necessarily have that kind of scar success rate that I've seen on this forum, but that seems to pair with a subpar surgeon. I know you're a big evangelist of FUE on here, which is great since you want positive results for everyone on here. But I can only speak to the great results with my hairline design, yield and faint scar from the FUT I received from Dr. Konior.
  20. For what it's worth, I only wanted my Dr. doing all of the graft work, particularly in the hairline. So if it were me, i wouldn't advise that clinic. When i recieved my HT the techs were there for assisting and hair slicing but Dr. Konior performed the artistry, this is a lot of money we're talking here.
  21. Those precious new hair follicles are in a resting phase, they're taking a long nap before their glorious reveal.
