Bald patch shock loss 7 weeks post FUE
Since13 replied to tsav84's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Feel sorry that you are going through this. It's impossible to predict what will happen. Time will tell us. Talk to your doctor about it and try, difficult, to not think about it and be positive:)- 17 replies

Since13 replied to Athena's topic in Results Posted by Leading Hair Restoration Clinics
Nice results. I hate it when there is light differences between photos. It makes me suspicious about the results. -
Impressive! It looks as if they were two different persons. What a transformation

My experience of surgery with Dr Wong of Hasson and Wong
Since13 replied to -se7en-'s topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
It's much better than what I saw in the pre-op pictures. I think you will have a nice result. Keep us updated:) -
I'm shocked at what H and W are doing to this guy:( The roller coaster he was on for 18 months is enough.
-
Well said. The most upsetting thing is when a clinic wants you to see something that is not there. This is not a successful operation (a failure). H and W are the best FUT guys. This is not a good representation of their results. It reminds me of a moderate response to Rogain. If Dr Hasson considers this a success, then what is a failure:confused:?? I feel sorry for you Correy53 that you have to go through all of this. But be sure that one day you will have a new thread that shows you results after a corrective surgery and you know what..your hair will look stunning .
-
I think if you add some singles to soften the hairline and add a little density that would be great. You hair looks good. I am surprised that you have little donor left. Have you had a lot of surgeries?
-
I think that the result is bad and the patient is entitles to a full refund. Feel sorry for you but the bright side is that it's not a large session I respect Dr Hasson and I met him in person and he was so nice and respectful, but I will keep an eye on this case to assess my decision based on the outcome.

If it was me, I would not go to the same doctor again no matter how famous and good he is.

Well said!

I did not have the knowledge back then. So, I was one of those who were misled and I thought that 3501 grafts (the number is stuck to my mind) would give you the coverage it gave Jason. What annoyed me the most was how Ziering was trying to justify that he did not notice that Jason was wearing concealers. Well, if he was saying the truth, then I'd never ever go to a doctor who does not detect that his patient wears toooonnns of concealers. By the way, Ziering's assistant in LA asked me if I had had consultations with other doctors and I mentioned Feller and then he rolled his eyes and said that he did not know him:confused:. What a pathetic way of convincing people:mad:. Off topic Ziering is involved in the Histogen project:rolleyes:.
-
I went to Ziering himself in LA for a consultation and he and his assistant kept telling me about Hollywood celebrities to impress me. Not to mention what I think is a scandal when he appears with Jason on TV to lie to people. I will neve ever go to any clinic that is associated to him.

Still shedding heavily after 4 months on Finasteride?
Since13 replied to sheraz104's topic in Hair Loss Drugs
The good news is that Finasteride does not cause hair loss. I've been on the drug for more than 18 months and I've got to tell you that I shed every 3-4 months for a couple of weeks. I guess that the hair that you shedd are the weak ones that will be dormant for some time then they will grow stronger and thicker. My advice is stick to the drug for a year and then assess your situation. -
Agree! Your hair looks better than 90% of the people I see on the street. That is, streets would be empty if people with similar or worse hair stay at home:)

What???? Your hair looks nice and I think that your HT is far from being a failure. You should be happy! It's not 5000 grafts. 1400 grafts are good for touch ups and not for a dense hairline. However, I think you've had a nice yield. This is what I can see from the pictures!

Should I proceed with HT? Photos attached
Since13 replied to Gage's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Well said! Gage, I'd like to bring to your attention that, according to what I see from your photos, your loss is not as minimal as you may think. I don't think that 1000 will be enough. You and I are of similar age and level of hair loss and I know what I'm talking about as I've had a number of consultations with the top surgeons in the world. Do you know that if you want to lower your hairline 1 cm, you need around 1500 grafts? Do the math. If you are looking for a full head of hair and a dense hairline, then 1000 is not what you are looking for. I know how difficult it is for all of us to lose our hair and I know how it is for some of us, especially of young age, to see other people who have those low and dense hairlines. But you should know the limitations of HTs before knowing what they can give to you. If you want my advice, be on medication before you think about a HT. If you are in a hurry and cannot wait, then send you pictures or have a consultation with some good doctor. I recommend Dr Hasson, Dr Rahal and Dr Feller as I've had consultations with them. Good luck:) -

Since13 replied to Gage's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
You know what! I think that should do your research before taking the plunge. I think that 1000 will not make a big difference given your loss. I think that you should consider being on medication and re-assess your situation in a year or so. I know quite a few who were about to get a HT but due to their outstanding response to the drugs, they did not get a HT. The point that I'm trying to make is that you should read into hair restoration before doing any thing as when you get a HT, there is no way back. Also, you should keep in mind that a HT is not exact science and that there are a lot of factors that affect the results. So take it easy and take your time. -
