  1. About a year and half ago my significant other told me the marriage was over after 25 years. Well for me it was time to take stock in myself, before this if the belly was a little big or the hair was a little thin it was Parr for the course, after all my priority's where work and family not attracting females i thought, but now my life had a third direction work, family, dating. Now for the big belly part i could work on my self, but the front thinning hair that was a different story all the healthy eating and working out would not make my hair come back, for this part i needed outside help I know what your thinking if you have a good soul and are a good man it doesn't matter what you look like that is true to some respects but self confidence to go out and to pursue the opposite sex was a big step for me a really scary one, i needed all the help i could get. I heard about hair transplants but new nothing about them until i stumbled on this site. I read the posts viewed the doctors listened to all your experiences.Out of that i picked two doctors in the NYC area one was True&Dorin made a appointment and saw Dr.Dorin what sold me on Dr.Dorin was his straight talk " for your first procedure we can add to what you have giving you a fuller look " not this procedure will give you back the same hair you had when you where 18.You see he new exactly what he could give me (being the professional he is) on one procedure he did not try to sugarcoat it . Did the fut on jan 28 Well fast forward 8 months and It turned out fantastic just like he said it would,I don't even think about it any more, even today when i pass a mirror i say wow ,still working on the belly maybe a little lipo for that just kidding but if Doc.Dorin did that i would consider it. And one more thing this site is a support group every step of the way if i had any concerns i just had to turn to this site to put my mind at ease. Thank you to everyone here. You guy have no idea how much you help people out there thank you..
  2. Has anybody had an HT and scalp-micro pigmentation ,can you do the SCP if you had a HT and can you do it if your wear your hair longer I got questions Thanks
  3. wow reading these posts from Kujii is really freaking me out I am 3 and a half months past my HT by dr.dorin i had 2400 graphs (at the front) its looking a little thin like the hairs are spaced to far apart .Has this happened to anyone else Kujii give us a update what happened with the doctor did you or are you going to get another HT and did the doctor try to satisfy you or work something out
  4. I was in the same situation that you are NYCHair 3 months ago I consulted with both doctors both seemed great Dr.Feller was a little more ,how can i say this ( gun ho) come in and we can give you a head of hair.Where as Dr.Dorin was a little more conservative telling me i would increase the volume at the front. Don't get me wrong both doctors are the best out there from what i can see from my research. I decided on Dr.Dorin the surgery went great ( Jan 28,2013) hardly no pain just the swelling after which freaked me out ,to quote a poster "I looked like robocop without his helmet". Now as a human I have been second guessing if i made the right decision or not i read posts about Dr.Feller's great job and say to myself maybe i made a mistake then three days later I read about a guy who is in six months after a Dr.Dorin job and its great, I go back and forth every hour which i believe you will to after you make up your mind, but I think its all part of the beast. I am sure which ever Dr. you go with between these two you can't go wrong and I am sure the waiting for results will drive you crazy

  8. It's been two months since HT nothing's happening, I still feel the prickly hairs maybe less now but they are not growing at all. Shouldn't some of them be popping up or growing. Also my head still feels a little numb to the touch is that a bad thing. Can I hear from the Veterans does this sound normal, was it like this for you guys, i really need some reassurance
  9. It's been 27 days since my HT the little hairs have not fallen out yet is that a bad sign, will the new hair still grow up and out or they won't start to grow until the old ones fall out. needing an answer from the experienced thanks
