  1. Below are my two year results, they're not WOW results by any means but they made a decent difference. Would have expected better density honestly in the frontal area thats why for me its not that great of a transplant but its better than pre-transplant thats for sure. the 2018 pictures (the last 3) are the only pictures before the procedure. In those 2 years, my hair loss isnt stable , its still progressing (as you can see from my crown). however I wasnt fixated with my hair and torturing myself mentally for those 2 years so that it was a massive mental improvement for me to have this procedure. Yes, my hair isnt great but it made a difference that it allowed me to relax and focus on my life and even now I guess im starting to accept im going to bald either way, but hey at least it will be after the thirties and I got to enjoy the last couple years of my twenties with hair. Im currently 27 going on 28, I also got the first two girlfriends in my life post transplant and one of them im in a serious relationship with right now. Im on the big 3 in terms of medication.
  2. Hi all, Ill post an update tomorrow hopefully. Yes the results were better, yes my hair does not have great density but I can cover it up well. Do I think the transplant was worth it? Yes definitely, especially when I see old pictures where my hairline was horrible. Do I think it could have been better, also yes, but for the price I paid it was more than worth it.
  3. I might be in the middle of a seasonal shed right now so my hair doesn't look that great for 6 months. Will post at 7 months. So far, really disappointed
  4. thanks you guys, I really hope you guys are right and things improve a lot in the next few months, I have my doubts but we'll see. Like I said before even if my result will only improve slightly than this, I still don't regret it. I had a very smooth process in general and didn't spend a fortune compared to other doctors but then again I'm going to have to get another transplant and this time at a more well-established clinic. When that will happen? I have no idea, I don't think I'm going to have enough cash in the near future to be able to pay over $5 per graft.
  5. I agree completely, I don't regret my decision as I didnt have many options with my limited budget. I just couldn't keep living my day to day life in that way. Now, its better but still I have to keep checking up on my hair all the time and it doesn't look that great even with topikk. Still, its much better than before....
  6. Don't think being a slow grower is the reason, although my hair grows quite slow in length compared to the average person. My post scab density didn't seem very dense and I thought that maybe the reason was a lot of hairs fell when I removed the scabs/crusts but I guess it's just not many grafts survived.
  7. It has improved,I agree but for me, I feel it's improved mainly because of the length of hair. There are no more new hairs ever since they grew at the 3rd month and I can't possible fathom how it can improve significantly better than this other the hair length covering up the bald areas. I also don't claim it's failure, the surgery itself went as good as can be as well post-op as I had no issues and even went to back to work 12 days after the surgery with nobody noticing anything. I also had some hair growth, its not a failure but its not a great result or homerun by any means. Maybe my expectations were a bit too high
  8. I have uploaded a lot of pictures in different lighting for an accurate viewing as the lighting does really make a difference. I think the daylight pictures are more representative of reality rather than the ones in the bathroom. All these pictures are without concealer, when using concealer I look like I have a full head of hair. My overall thoughts? There is a significant improvement from the baseline, People have noticed a difference and I have been asked in a complementary way whether I changed something about my hair. I now shave the sides and back at a 1.5 every week as I feel it looks better and there is no visible scarring or moth-like appearance. I no longer have to have the mid-section of my hair so long so that it can cover the front part, they are all now the same length which contributes to a smoother and neater look as well as no longer having an issue with wind blowing my hair BUT... I honestly expected the results to be better than this, my hair is still very thin and I have to use toppik when going out which makes me look like I have a full head of hair. What I'm disappointed in is that I expected not to see any significant thinning (especially the right side) after this transplant seeing as I had 3000 grafts transplanted only in the frontal region with no lowering of hairline and a minor filling up of the temples. My hairline still bothers me as well as my temples. I haven't seen any new growth, maybe its hard to see because of the long hair. Overall, Am I pleased I did this? yes , am I more confident and don't stress about doing my hair in the morning every day ? yes , Am I pleased with my hair? No, it's still very thin and I expected it to be much better. Do I expect my hair to get better in the coming months? Other than hair growing longer and maybe slight increase in thickness of hairs, I really don't think there will be any new growth or significant difference as some posters here like to lead you to believe, but who knows, I may be wrong, I hope I am.

  10. for me, it doesn't look unnatural. It looks like it's thinning. I also had a transplant 4 months ago and in the same boat. We will need to fill it up again however yours doesn't look unnatural to the normal eye, no.
  11. Just a piece of information for viewers of this thread to know. This guy is either trolling or hes not 100 % sane. He has a thread on Misc Bodybuilding forum (which is known for trolling) and his username is MagicWater https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=176592111&p=1569236301#post1569236301. Basically, he's a poster there who keeps talking about looksmaxing etc.. and people there already seem to be sick of his threads. You can tell it's most likely trolling by the choice of his words such as "supreme" or getting the best transplant known to mankind. On the off chance that you're not trolling because that would seem like too much effort. I also had a transplant 4 months ago and the results are not satisfying, It was a risk worth taking but what is done is done, all you can do is look towards the future and see how you can fix this. In the meantime, i would recommend using toppik and saving up some money for another doctor. And like all the posters here have said before, contact your Dr. immediately in the hopes you might get a refund because unfortunately, I doubt your going to have a significant change in the coming months like most people here like to say (12 months).
  12. I really hope your right, I agree there is improvement in the hairline and temple but if I don't see new sprouts or the hair doesnt get much thicker within the next two months, then unfortunately this wouldn't be a good result by any means.
  13. I agree there is an improvement in the hairline and the temples but still its very thin. I hope either the hairs get noticeably thicker or I get new sprouts. Unfortunately, my gut tells me I'm probably not going to see much more new growth than this. I hope you guys are right, you have probably seen and experience this phase. We will see within the next two months and I will be able to conclude what this result is. There has been improvement though every month so I'll try and be optimisitc
  14. 1 week till the 4 month mark but I have been pretty disappointed and decided to post a week earlier to get your honest opinions. I have attached a lot of pictures for good analysis. My thoughts? I have only seen some growth at the hairline and temples from the 3 month mark but I haven't been able to see any sprouts ever since I shed at the 1 month mark. I do have a couple of sprouts which have stayed as stubble for over more than a month. I'm worried that I don't have any other growth seeing as I would judge my current result as a huge failure. Didn't achieve anything which I wanted to. There are still big gaps especially the right side, I still need to use toppik as my hair is very much see through. The only good thing is the new hairline and some of the hairs which grew in the frontal region . For 3000 grafts, I would have expected much more growth than this, and I know its still early at the fourth month, but the majority of results which were good, you could already see the sprouts starting from the third month and I have yet to see any.
