hey @paddyirishman Sorry, I should have been more clear - I haven't gotten a transplant yet. I was just wondering if there was anyone who also gets easily scarred and has had a transplant. Or if anyone has heard of permanent scarring or discoloration (in the recipient area) from a transplant. Thanks.

I am someone who's gets dark discoloration from injuries to my skin. Most times they fade in time but, sometimes they become permanent. Has anyone heard of or seen permanent skin discoloration from a transplant? Or if there is anyone here who is in the same boat as me has had a transplant? If so, how did it work out for you? I've seen a couple of threads about this but, there have been no updates on them. TYIA.
