  1. Hello all, my brief background story: I had Medical Hair Restoration (MHR) in Oakbrook, IL do my hair transplant in 2008 with Dr. Katona. The results as a whole were OK but my donor scar has been the worst part of this whole thing. To make matters worse, MHR went out of business shortly after my surgery and I was referred to Bosley when I tried to make a follow up appointment regarding the scar tissue. I couldn't deal with the same people or my doctor anymore and any scar tissue removal was going to be over $3000 with them, yikes. My problem is that the scar tissue on the right side of my head has gotten bigger, redder, more inflamed, and more painful over the last year. It never felt 100%, in fact, after the stitches were removed, I wondered if they actually missed one in this area because of the sensation I had at the time. My concerns at the time were dismissed by the office and I was told to give it some healing time and come back. As I said, they went out of business before that could happen. I feel that this scar tissue is going to have to be surgically removed because it has turned into such a painful ordeal. I hypothesize that there actually might be a stitch or part of one left in there or hair might be growing underneath the scar tissue? The scar tissue itself has no feeling at all, i could poke it with a sharp object and would only feel pressure. It hurts inside/underneath the scar tissue. Any input is greatly appreciated and I'm also looking for a good person in Illinois to remove this tissue or help me out in any way, any suggestions here too would be very appreciated. -Jerry
