He has just had one at the clinic that can’t be mentioned dr. C*n*k
I hope it was the premium package...
I looked on his twitter and realised it must have been Turkey, and in the last 2 weeks, since he was there commentating for the Galatasary game.

He has genetic hairloss on the Ludwig scale, which is normally most common in women but does appear from time to time on men. It is characterised by a persistent hairline but with loss behind it.

It could be in the 2500 range, even close to 3000.
Best way to estimate is to try to calculate the density in a 1cm square and multiply it by the approximate area.
I look at the picture and think the U shape could be 20cm long and have an average width of 3cm. If the density is 50 then:
20 x 3 x 50 = 3000

I had my FUE with Konior this August. As far as I could tell (in my valium-induced state), he was the only one that interacted with my scalp and did all the extractions, slits, and implantation. Like Melvin said the techs were probably in the back room sorting and preparing the grafts. Morning was extractions, afternoon slits and implantation. There were also 2-3 techs next to konior at all times as he was working on me - probably handing him grafts, etc. I could hear them all talking a lot.
One thing I did notice is that he doesn't really have to do anything apart from the surgery itself. The techs literally put everything on a plate for him, so he can enter the room, do his stuff, then take a break to look at his emails or whatever...then back in the room and everything is ready to go immediately once he's scrubbed up.
So there's not really any heavy lifting involved as the logistics are done by others.

No idea if he does currently. I believe at one point he did but would love to hear from one of his patients.
Back in 2014 he invited me to observe him perform a strip surgery (I was in the US on vacation and made a stop off on my return journey).
He makes the incisions one at a time while one tech (usually Lisa, but no idea if others do now) implants a graft. Another tech is providing the grafts. As it was a strip case there was at least another 2, maybe 3 techs cutting the strip and assiting with dressings, surgical tools, monitoring etc.

Is it me or does he look like he’s got one of those dodgy Turkish hairlines?!! Seems to have shaved his head recently again, and can’t help but think he’s had something done….
Yeah it is not the best design. Those temple closures where it swoops down never look great.

But can you still sleep with your head on the pillow?
As long as grafted areas do not rub at pressure against the pillow for the first 3-4 days. The grafts are quite well anchored after that.

Good Luck to him, would love to know who his chosen surgeon is.
His pal Gordon Ramsay was pictured coming out of the Armani Clinic (Beverley Hills) years ago, then pictured a day or two after with DB. Purely a hunch but he could have gone there.
More than likely he would have paid $$$$$ to have it done at one of his homes, to avoid any chance of being papped.

Used to see him now and again on Sky News. Then he turned up on GB news 2 years later with better hair!

Hi guys.. At post op, do you need to sleep in a certain pose to avoid any injury? What instructions does your doc tell you to follow?
They want you to sleep at an angle on your back to help drain any swelling downwards away from your head. This also limits the chances of rolling over too much and snagging any grafts on the bed linen.
I just used a load of hotel pillows to position myself at about a 30 degree angle and also wore a travel neck pillow. I didnt have much trouble sleeping that way due to jet lag.
In this position you can also position yourself a bit on your side as well if that's more comfortable.

...He got a great result without any risk
Unfortunately there is no such thing as a 'no risk' surgery. All you are seeing are the ones that turned out good.
No doctor will voluteer to tell you of the bad ones where only 20% of 5000 grafts actually grew.

There's an experienced guy in Las Vegas who used to be recommended here: Dr Joseph Williams. I think he just decided to end being a member as I don't think there was any dramas that led to his removal. He could be worth looking at. Dr Mohebi and Dr Carman are two californian MDs currently recommended here.

The picture you have that has two areas split showing '6000 grafts': the front part is probably the sort of area you are looking at

It looks like recent work. I reckon its at 4 months.
I googled around and I think the main change happened in 2018 when he was pictured in a swimming pool. However, that's not to say he hasn't had further work done recently.

The FUT area looks weak so no point risking a worse scar for a strip that would not yield a decent number of grafts. While it is still a thin line you have an option to fill it in with beard hairs.
I guess he would tackle the front 3rd and aim to get as close to the apex of your head. At least then the front looks better and you can style it backwards/diagonally to cover weak areas.

Changed my mind on this one having seen much clearer head shaved photos. Some work in the temples and around the hairline

You think this looks pluggy?
Dr Munibs looks much softer/ maybe less dense, but I don't think this one looks "pluggy".
What does everyone else think?
Nothing pluggy about it. That case was posted on here somewhere years ago. It was 2 HTs on a NW3 resulting in the high density outcome. I cant remember how may grafts but maybe high 2000s.
The Ahmad case is lower density. It's actually about the same as my own (45-50 / cm2) except his design is more of a 'saw-tooth' favoured by some doctors. Great result nonetheless

You can’t make that statement without spilling the tea ☕️ who is it?
I'll leave that up to Mick but only some people in the UK would know him. Not a mega star but on TV here regularly.

Nice one Mick. I recognised who this is as he's in the public eye and talks about his HT.
Always thought it looked great and surprised it's actually only 2000 odd grafts!
-
The hair you have left in the temple areas basically provides no coverage at all. So it may as well be treated as completely bald areas.
Most doctors would probably not attempt to save those as they are likely to be DHT affected anyway.
On the other hand, the central area looks quite decent and may not need any grafts at this stage.

Unless things have changed recently you can buy it over the counter without prescription in Spain. I bought some fin there once.

That side on, dry hair picture looks as though the front forelock is minaturising. To me it sounds like the doc wants to work around the perimeter of it and not in between as you suggested.
I guess youre not that old. 30 ish? Probably better to air on the conservative side at this stage. You will probably need another HT in 10-15 years anyway, if not sooner.
The crown just isnt thin enough to make the risk/reward ratio viable.
