  1. Hi Matt. You are absolutely correct but from what I've seen very little available lets anyone truly 're-grow' or retain thick full hair. Surgery and transplantation is the closest I guess. But as for the lotions, foams and sprays they just 'fill' in the gaps so the scalp is more hidden. The sad truth is that nothing I've seen is the ultimate solution including my own companies solution. Holding onto our own hair currently is difficult to impossible. I've researched heavily and the biology is against us hair loss sufferers. I believe one day a drug company will crack it however. There's too much money at stake for them not find 'the cure'. But for now holding onto your own hair as it thins is a battle involving more luck than science!
  2. Hi Bill. I'm actually the MD for Total Cover Plus in London England. But after encouragement from our clients decided to post on vital forums like this as they do hair loss sufferers a very great service. Sadly what we offer is not available in the US (I'm working on it) but I felt I have to comment where I see potential pitfalls for hair loss sufferers. Do remember lots of British sufferers read this forum and pick up great advice. Thanks for the opportunity.
  3. Hi RC. In my professional and personal opinion so many of these drug based lotions, foams and lotions simply give people a bit of fuzz. Yes they cover the scalp and reduce the obvious thinning but they don't re-grow even medium or long hair. Plus the weird side effects I read about on this and other forums are none too pleasant. Finally most of them have the unfortunate effect that when you stop rubbing their products into your scalp the fuzz just falls out! Admittedly minor hair loss issues might find the fuzz useful to thicken the look. But once it's gone they are pointless and come with too many down sides. I've never come across a client who ended up with a thick full head of hair using this stuff. Here in the UK I see people full of hope being fleeced and exploited into using products that just don't deliver. Sadly it seems its the same in the US.
  4. We're based in London UK and we have a solution which we will bring to the US. I read some of the solutions and costs that people here try and my heart goes out to them. At Total Cover Plus our non surgical solution like all solutions come with a cost and an acceptance that until they come up with a pill that actually re-grows hair everything is a fix. In many cases sadly a painful, scarring or unrealistic fix. I joined your forum (as I have done in the UK) just to make sure my company was acting ethically and fairly. Our clients I'm pleased to say go with our solution as it gives them what they want. A full head of hair and one that looks great. But it's still a leap of faith. If you have a moment please look at our latest video on our website. It's quite an eye opener. Best regards Phil UK London
  5. Here in London at our company we see and hide the results of this bizarre solution. Personally speaking I would avoid it. It's thousands of dark dots drawn onto your scalp. The concept being that your own real but thin hair will look thicker. I'm from a company called Total Cover Plus. Our product does give a full head of hair. Sadly we're here in the UK so are of no use to you. Each time I take a look on this site my mind boggles! Best of luck. Phil
  6. I had a kind mail from Bill from the site telling me that I could say the name of our company (even though we're in the UK) But I’ve decided not to. And he asked me not to post adverts or links so of course I won't do that either. But we have a unique new hair system - it's not a toupee or a wig - but it's an artificial skin with implanted hair. It's German bio-engineered and I'm wearing one such system right now. To be honest the drugs are dubious in my personal opinion and don't give you lots of hair (if you're lucky you get a thin fuzzy covering) And surgery has very mixed results and is costly and in many cases painful. So we came up with our solution. It costs around ?3,000 pounds per year and is non-invasive, non-chemical and of course gives you a perfect head of styled hair. We then change it in 2 hours every 7 weeks. I only wanted to post after a friend told me about this forum and I read some of the terrible things here. We have a few such sites in the UK with their own horror stories! At some point if we are allowed I'll tell any of you who visit London where we are and invite you to pop in and see us for a cup of tea and a chat. But I felt moved to let folk know that not all companies are crooks. And some companies care very much about how people feel.
  7. I'll start by apologising as I'm in the UK. I run a new company and our new hair system is groundbreaking and offers a solution to hair loss sufferers. I have typical male pattern baldness. But right now as I sit and write I have a full head of hair that is impossible to detect. I'm looking for some honest and genuine hair salons in the USA to use and offer our systems to its clients. I'm not going to mention our system or company name unless the moderators here say I can. But I'm appalled at some of the stories I've read here and on similar sites in the UK. We think of ourselves as the honest company. We tell you what we do, how we do it and exactly how much it'll cost. We don't promise anything. We say try our system if you like. Then judge us. Good luck to all of you reading this.
  8. Hi. This is not much use I guess but our company in the UK can give people a full head of hair using our new system. Sadly it's not available in the USA. We tried to deal with a company in Florida but they proved impossible to work with. If you're ever in London drop us an email. And if you're an honest Hair Salon in the USA who genuinley cares about hair loss sufferers (I am one) Please contact us. I don't want to get into trouble so I'll wait and see if the site adminstrator will let us tell you guys who we are. But after reading some of the posts I can see we're needed in America.
