  1. Does anyona out there know if there is a network like this one for rhinoplasty. It would be very helpful for me to find the best rhinoplasty surgeons. Thanks. Widescar
  2. Does anyone out there recommend Dr. Vogel from Baltimore as a hair transplant surgeon? He does other cosmetic procedures as well. My concern is that he doesn't have the same expertise in hair restoration as a Dr. that does hair restorations only. I've had two botched hair transplants already, and I want one of the very best out there to do a third and hopefully final hair transplant. Can someone who has dealt with him give me some advice? Thanks Widescar
  3. Hello, I'm 51 and had two transplants done by a very bad surgeon. The hair was not inserted on a forward angle as I have been told it should have been. I also look a little thin on top and the hairline makes me look like I had a transplant. This surgeon also did a very bad job sewing up the doner area and left me with an 8mm scar. I have heard that Dr. Hasson from Vancouver is one of the best. I live in the Washington, D.C. area and I'm wondering if there are other surgeons closer to me who might be just as good. I will go to Vancouver if I have to, but I would avoid it if I can find someone as good closer to home. There are many names of doctors that this site would recommend as good surgeons. I don't want to make another mistake. I want one of the very best out there. If you have an opinion about a surgeon to avoid, I would also appreciate your input. Thanks. Widescar
  4. Hello all, I had two transplants done by Dr. Giannotto in Tysons Corner, Va. The first one was in 2005 and the second was in 2008. I wish I had researched before I went to him. I am very disatisfied with my results. My pictures don't always show what I really look like up close and in person. My hair is very hard to manage, because it sticks up. I also have an 8mm scar in the back of my head. My thinning hair on top of my head is very visible underneath the hair that sticks up. I often have to wear a hat, because my hair won't lay down. This is after using hair products. I have expressed my displeasure to Dr. Giannotto's sales representative, and all he wants to do is try and sell me another costly hair transplant. I was also told that Dr. Giannotto pioneered the FUE ( Follicular Unit Extraction ). Other people out ther have claimed to have pioneered this and I find no where on the internet that say's Dr. Giannotto had anything to do with this invention. Dr. Giannotto would gladly take my business and slice me up a third time, but I think there are much better surgeons out there. Has anyone else had a bad or even good experience with Dr. Giannotto? I don't know if this can be fixed. I have been told that another hair transplant could make it worse. I know there are surgeons out there who would tell me otherwise, because all they are interested in is my wallet. Dr. Giannotto has a no refund policy. He offers special discounts. This should be a red flag no matter who the doctor is. Any reputable Dr. would give you back your money if you changed your mind within a certain time frame. And a Dr. that does reputable work will not offer discounts. You only have one head of hair. My advice to you is, spend the big bucks one time and be happy for the rest of your life. If you go the cheap way, you will be miserable and end up spending even bigger bucks. And you still might not be happy. Widescar
  5. Unfortunately, I think I already had mine done wrong. To add insult to injury, I went back a second time. Now they are trying to sell me a third transplant. My answer of course is no. Is there a physician out there who can fix my bad hair transplant?
  6. Unfortunately, I don't think I had mine done right the first time, and I went back to the same quack for a second procedure. He is trying to get me to come back a third time. Is there anyone out there who can fix my bad hair transplant?
