  1. Raphael, 8 years since this post and I am curious how you handled your situation and if anyone has updated information regarding Finasteride in semen and whether there’s a risk for women being exposed to it (that semen)? ps. My new dermatologist didn’t want to renew my Proscar prescription today for that reason since we’re currently trying to conceive another baby
  2. Melvin, could you provide any links or further information related to your statement that Finasteride does not transmit through semen? Just today my dermatologist told me that pregnant women should not get in contact “in any way” with semen while their partner is on Finasteride… Since we are currently trying for another baby, he refused to renew my prescription for Proscar.
  3. Hi FinMin, thank you for posting your case and pictures. Wishing you all the best and a great outcome! Any chance you could post some pictures of your strip scar and how it’s healing? Thanks!
  4. spex, have you been cutting it into fifths during all this time? Thank you all for your input!
  5. I thought they would be round initially, but when I took out an actual tablet, turns out they are the odd shape. Split 3 pieces. Indeed, it is very difficult to split them into fifths. Too much crumbling. Hard enough to split them into four.
  6. Just opened the box and they're actually round-shaped so I could split them into quarters. Isn't 1.25 mg too high though? Or would it be better to split them into eights and get 0.625 mg to start off?
  7. Hmmm, makes sense I guess. It would be so convenient to get more tablets ready, though. I'll pick up my very first box of Proscar tomorrow. Bought a small box cutter. Hope that will do the trick. Does anyone else have some input on this?
  8. Hi everyone, I was wondering if there's any issue with splitting Proscar tablets ahead of time. Suppose I split and get ready an entire box of Proscar tablets for convenience, would it still be potent? How does everyone do it? Thank you!
  9. Congratulations Alessio! I really like how natural it looks and clearly you made great progress since the date of the procedure ; ) Great presentation too! Since you work there, did the doctor spend any more time working personally on you or did you get the usual ASMED set-up, which I believe is: Dr. Koray draws the hairline, techs extract follicles, Dr. Koray makes lateral slits, techs place grafts?
  10. Big improvement of the hairline compared to before, congrats! Thank you for documenting your experience. What made you decide not to go with Dr. Konior in the end?
  11. Hi David,

I seem to be unable to post a new thread (there's no new thread button). Is there anything you could do to help with that?

    Thank you.

  12. The work looks impeccable! Looking forward to an update on your progress johntra. I'm sure things are looking good since your procedure in January ; )
  13. Although BUSA was always very direct and came across as a douche (and was very bad at spelling), I feel his general intentions were good. All too often posters tend to sugar-coat the topics discussed here, which is not beneficial. I'm glad some of the other trolls are banned but I support him.
  14. Thank you for your detailed response BetterLate and for remembering my questions! I really like your post-op pictures. The extractions and placement look very clean. Great hairline design too!!!! I think you're in for a fantastic result. Please keep us posted on your progress and good luck!
  15. Yes, ok now I saw them too lol. Looks brilliant cruze14, fantastic graft placement! Could you post any pictures of the back of your head too (scar) please? How does it feel? I know that's a lo to ask, my apologies… very grateful you're sharing your story. I'm sure you're in for a great result! Really like Dr. K's work.
  16. Thank you for posting your experience BetterLate. Did the doctor do the graft extractions and placement himself? Did you experience any pain throughout the procedure or after? Good luck and all the best with your recovery ; )
  17. Sounds like you had a great experience and it looks like you're progressing really well! Do you have any more information on that 3G technique you're mentioning? What extraction tool was used (motorised or manual)? Thank you for posting.
  18. Very nice thread and great description of your journey Matt. Congratulations on your fantastic result!
  19. Looks like it's progressing nicely! How many grafts did you get?
  20. Very interesting thread. I'm in a similar dilemma in terms of hairline design. From what I've seen on the forums, I would say Konior, Feriduni, Rahal and Erdogan are amongst my favourites in terms of a natural yet good looking hairline. As I am more leaning towards FUE, I think this is where there's a bit of a divide. Konior doesn't have many documented FUE cases (seems to be more of a strip guy). Feriduni had that one case (MBPsucks) that seemed to require a second session and I don't know what the end result was. I remember 2 Rahal FUE cases (Sean and Sugar) that seemed a bit questionable at some point but I think they have been sorted sine, unless I missed something. Which leaves us/me with Erdogan. I personally also like Bisanga's FUE work. His hairline designs might be less intricate, but he always seems to pull off great yield. Keser from Turkey was on my radar too at some point, but haven't heard much about him lately.
  21. Looking good. I take it it was your personal choice not to shave your head for the procedure? I feel like this is the first result by this doc with no shaved head...
  22. Fantastic result cenkoa01! If you don't mind me asking, why did you stop taking medication?
  23. Thanks for sharing your experience Matt. I'd be interested in seeing some of is FUE work (wasn't aware he did FUE also).
  24. Hey Sebastian, Best of luck to you! The work looks very impressive -- I think you're going to get a fantastic result. How is it going currently, could you give us an update? Thank you for sharing your story. Masato
