  2. Hello HairHair, Given that you are having an FUE procedure. 2 weeks post surgery should be good; if all factors post surgery go well. Take the advice of your chosen HT surgeon. Is your surgery scheduled soon? Keep us posted. Michael
  3. Hello CautiouslyConsidering, FUE transplantation into scar works well. It can also be combined with SMP to render a scar virtually invisible. The nature of the scar is a factor of course. However this practice is becoming popular. Scalp laxity, surgical skill, type of closure are all factors that can reduce scar as well. Here is some information. All the Best, Michael
  4. Hello Stylish Boy, 1) If you are planning in HT, you might want to save the expense of a Hair System good natural Hair Systems cost thousand of USD. However some of the better ones are very natural looking. However the money might be better spent on your HT. 2) These hair systems obviously are groomed daily. Maintenance however depends on the type you choose, type of anchoring to your scalp and how fast your hair grows. Maintenance cost average 200 USD per visit. This would be at least once every 3 to 6 weeks. 3) Modern hair systems respond to environment well. That is why they are popular with men and women who are not eligible for HT. 4) Personally, if you are going for an HT, i would not recommend putting the costs into a Hair System. The total costs and maintenance for a good system could equal at least one third of your HT cost. 5) I am not familiar with clinics there so I must leave this response to someone who is. 6) This is prescription drug that must be prescribed by a bona fide doctor. I would dislike if you were taken advantage of by an online source. All the Best, Michael
  5. Hello Gemini310; I agree with other regarding the variation in graft numbers. These are also just estimates. Given that you like to wear your hair short, it seems FUE is the best route to go so the scar from a 'Strip Method' surgery will show through a close crop of 0, 1 or 2 and perhaps 3. All the Best, Michael
  6. Hello Spirali08, Are you serious? People prone to pattern baldness seem to accelerate this condition on steroids. There are not a lot of studies but many athletes have this complaint. Though your transplanted hair is DHT resistant it seems to be very ill advised to consider taking anabolic steroids following your transplant. It is not advisable to take these potent hormones unless medically required. There are many risk far beyond damaging your HT! All the Best, Michael.

  8. Hello Charles Sam Poor diet leads to being under or malnourished. How the negative effects manifest in a person is an individual. It is sufficient to say that if this condition is prolonged body proteins levels are insufficient and the hair, skin and nails which are all made up of keratinized protein can become compromised. However, it is IMPORTANT to note that diet does not contribute to pattern baldness in anyway. This is a hereditary genetic condition commonly called Male Pattern Baldness [MPB] in which there are two approved medical treatments and HT which actually resolve the issue of hair loss and many patients with androgenic alopecia (pattern hair loss). There is presently no legitimate research proving that an improved diet can stop or reverse androgenic alopecia. If hair loss is not from MPB and is nutritionally based test by a doctor would be necessary to determine this. In the western world instances of the severe under nourishment are rare. All the Best, Michael
  9. Hello Jessop; This depends on your natural Hair Growth Cycle. If you are able to wear your hair style similar to the pick you post now. A successful FUE is not more than relocating (transplanting) your natural hair follicles into thinning and balding areas. AFter about 9 months to a year, your hair should resume it normal growth cycle. All the Best, Michael
