  1. I am a NW class VI and had 2500 hair transplantation surgery on Dec., 2012. After surgery the scabs were removed by normal shampooing within 15 days. Except a small coin shaped scab remained attached on the front portion of the transplanted area. My doctor removed that scab gently after 25 days of surgery and there was no bleeding and the transplanted hair of that part was fine and no infection occurred. After a month or so near about 80% of transplanted hair fell out. After 3 months of surgery the new hair started to grow nicely except that coin shaped portion. I reported my doctor and was advised to wait for another 3 months. After 6 months of surgery my transplant result was overall satisfactory except that coin shaped region (whitish color), there was no trace of hair. Then my doctor advised me to use Tenovate (Clobetasol) ointment once a day for that coin shaped portion and also to the donor scar. I have been using it for last 3 months but only few(3-4) hair came out but the color of the skin remain as same (whitish). I have been using Tugain 5% lotion (daily) and fenasteride 1 mg (on alternate day) since HT surgery. My doctor advised me to stop tugain and fenasteride and to continue Tenovate ointment. Please advise me that will Tenovate Ointment help to grow hair to that region? And should I stop tugain and fenasteride or continue? if continue how long can i?
  2. I had a hair transplantation 3 months ago. I have noticed 4-5 tiny(point) dry blood spots on front portion of scalp today at morning. My doctor told me to apply minoxidil 5% only at the crown area but i am applying all over the transplanted area. Please advise me what to do now & whether it will cause any damage to the hair grafts of those points?
  3. Richie & hairthere here is my present photographs (6 weeks after HT). 15-20 days of HT all scab came out. Few scabs came out with one or two transplanted hair(without root). Is it normal? After 1 month the transplanted hairs stated to fall out and now almost 95% hair has been shaded. Now, i have some questions, please reply : 1. Is Falling transplanted hairs (without root) with scab normal? 2. Almost 95% of hair has been shaded, will new hair come back again? if so when? 3. Doctor advised to use baby shampoo on alternative day and Nizoral 2% once in a week for 3 months, should I continue? 4. Any other valuable advices ? Please Help!!!
  4. The pictures of the transplanted area were taken 5 days after HT.
  5. Thanks for your immediate reaction though am shocked. I should have taken your advice before HT. Please give me advice how to overcome such situation when hair will come out and now should I stop baby shampoo on alternative day? May I use Nizoral 2% once in a week? And other valuable advices. I am now 6 weeks post operative stage. Thanks.
  6. I am 36 yrs. male with class VII baldness. I have done my hair transplantation (FUT) from Kolkata on 14.12.2011.Before surgery, I requested my doctor to cut the strip from little lower region of the permanent hairline but he didn't do so. Now, I am not sure whether the transplanted hairs are permanent or not. After viewing the donor region please, let me know whether the transplanted hairs are permanent or will be disappeared in few years. I was adviced for shampooing with baby shampoo on alternative day for 3 months and nizoral 2% once in a week and also advised for following medications at least for three months : 1. Vitamin cap. (Folic Acid, EPA, DHA, zinc, grape seed ext. 150mg. etc.) 2. calcium with vit. D3 Tab. 3. Iron with Folic Acid Capsules. 4. Finasteride 1mg tabs. (1 tab. on alternative day). 5. Minoxidil 5%. Is everything all right or may be something else to do? please advice, I am very much worried.
  7. I was very much worried but got some relief after your assurance. Many many thanks.
  8. Thanks for your answers. I am sending another close viewed photo for miniaturization in the donor area. Please let me know whether these hairs are permanent or not.
