  1. By shedding, do you mean the transplanted hairs aren't falling out?
  2. Hey dude, great to see you got a HT. My hair loss is kind of similar to yours where I have front thinning. (I'm asian too) Since I've heard that Oriental hair is different and perhaps harder to work with, did you do some research on surgeon experience with our type of hair? Like you said, there aren't many examples of asian HTs, and the only one that comes to mind was that horror story (Chanyouzhe) who got his from Armani. Also, why did you opt for the strip instead of FUE? Best of luck, man.
  3. Awesome head of hair even before the surgery, but will be Hollywood once those grafts grow in. Just curious, what was the density of your graft placement?
  4. mmm, unless I'm interpreting their comments incorrectly, what some are complaining about is the way the photos are being presenting. Very "Bosley-esq". Wet hair seperated on the first photos, dry and combed over in the after pics. Although it may have been unintentional. IMO the whole industry needs to go to full HD camera closeup work like H&W does. Otherwise people will always be rightfully suspicious. There was a video here from one of the coaltion docs showing footage of work done on the final result of a guy's HT. It was shot in a somewhat dark room at a distance of about 10-15 feet away. That's a huge red flag even though the work might have been outstanding. The PRP may be a huge breakthrough. The guy in question in the above pics may be showing good progress in person. But all we have to go off of are the pics. Yeah, I think Feller shouldn't have posted those results until it was absolutely clear that PRP was effective. I just think that he gave into the pressure of having to produce something before charging for a procedure like PRP.
  5. So why is it acceptable if PRP, minoxidil, propecia, etc stabilize your hair loss so that results can't be seen in photos, but not acceptable if LLLT does the same thing? I don't really know anything about LLLT, but if it does stabilize loss, then I would consider it an acceptable form of hair loss treatment - as I'm sure most people would also.
  6. I understand people's problems with paying for an uncertain procedure, but this cry for photographic evidence is a catch 22 for Dr. Feller - either show pictures and have people claim fraud based on the short timespan, or don't show pictures and have people claim fraud for not having proof. The thing with photographic evidence is this. If PRP was able to stabilize one's hairloss, would you consider it a success? I would. And given that scenario, would photographs of the same head of hair convince anyone of whether or not PRP works?
  7. I wasn't aware that the procedure time is the sole determinant for its cost.
  8. Dr. Feller, that's great to hear. I'm currently about 2.5 weeks post-PRP. I haven't really noticed a big change, but it's still early. I'm curious, did your patients notice an improvement early or was it a few months before they saw that they were losing less hair? Also, I'd like to add that whenever I use the DermRoller (which was given to me by Dr. Greco), I seem to lose less hair the next few days. If I skip the Derm Roller, it seems that more hairs are falling out. At this point, I can't say for sure, but that's just something that I've noticed.
  9. Yeah, it's pretty early, but one of Dr. Greco's other patients (who's my age) said he noticed a decrease in hair loss in the first week. He's on his third month now, and he says that he noticed growth in his hairline.
  10. I've noticed the same thing. But, I just had mine done two weeks ago, so I can't be absolutely certain that there has been a statistically significant decrease in my loss. It just feels that way, as I think I'm seeing less hair loss during the course of the day. How long ago did you have it done, Brentipold?
