  1. Yes, you can do that. But, if you don't have any particular interest in delhi, and if your motto is to just go to Vishakhapatnam then get a flight ticket from UK to any place like mumbai, delhi, hyderabad, chennai, kolkota (which ever is the cheapest) and then get a ticket from that place to Vishakapatnam. Generally a domestic ticket from any of the above place to Vishakapatnam costs you around 4000 INR ~= 45 pounds.
  2. These are my pics after 10 days. Please give your feedback. Thanks.
  3. Hello Guys, I have been reading this forum from more than a year. I am 29 and been losing hair from last 6 years. I have the idea of getting an HT from a long time and finally got it done on December 10th 2012 by Dr Radha Rani. Here is my story: I work in the United States, but I am from Vishakhapatnam, India (place where her clinic is). I have a plan to go to my home town for vacation in November from a long time. And as i have been following this forum, I have read about Radha Rani a lot. I wanted to get an HT but was always hesitant. On November 15th I took a 3 week vacation and went to India to meet my parents (getting an HT was not the main purpose of visit, but it is always at the back of my mind). My advantage is that I stay just 10 minutes away from her clinic. I spent a week in INDIA still thinking weather to visit or not. Finally I went for a consultation. After seeing everything she said, she can't do a surgery in the short trip of mine as she is full for the entire 2012. I asked her to call me if any vacancies come in (I am neither sad nor happy as I still haven't decided if I will get an HT or not). 3 days later I got a call from her asking if I am free in December 10. According to my initial plan, my return flight is on 10th. But, without thinking anything, I told her to block the date. Then for the next 2 days, I thought about all the pros and cons and finally decided to get it. Postponed all the tickets to 17th. Went her to meet again and got all the details. She said she was expecting around 2500 grafts as I don't have very good donor hair. I was OK with that. On the day of the surgery, my dad dropped me. I was there by 10 AM. The first hour was basically drawing some lines on my head and planning. I told her to cover more area with less density rather than less area with more density. She said, she will do what is best for me. Then I was taken to the operation room where I was laid on my stomach for around 2 hours. I got 3 injections at the back of my head(anesthesia) and was also given some tablets for sleep (but did not sleep). After about 2 hours, the process of extracting grafts is over(got 2600), and I was given a lunch break. 30 minutes later, I was again taken back to the operation room. Now I laid on my back. I was given two injections on my forehead(which pained a little) and some sleep tablets. The process was completed in 3 hrs. But, I don't know for what reason (maybe I slept, but I am not sure) it felt like just 1 hr. Time flied. After the op, some pics were taken and a bandana was tied to my head. My dad came for pick up and I was in home by 7. I was scared as I read from many people that the night of the op will be hard to pass by, but it was very easy for me. I took the tablets doc gave me and slept happily. There is virtually no pain. For the first 5 days, I stayed indoors for most of the day. In the evening, I used to go out with a bandana. On December 15th, I met her again and got the sutures removed. On 17th I took a flight and I am back in USA. Right now, my scar is starting to heal and I still feel the tightness in the scalp. I was told it will take 10-15 days to go off. I am using a cap in office and wherever I go out. Hope everything goes well. Thanks for all your help. I will be updating this thread with pics every month. I am attaching my pre op and post op pics. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

  6. Hello, I am presently in the US and planning for an HT with Dr.Radha. I tried emailing her at radhaiiht@gmail.com and contact@hairclinicindia.com a week back. But there is no reply at all. Are these the right email ids ? Did any one email to her ? If yes, can i get it ?
