  1. Hi All, I stumbled across Dr. Gladstone (Skinmd) site and was curious if anyone had any experiences with this surgeon? He does robotic assisted transplants and follicular unit transplants. Still looking for the right surgeon to do HT. Anyone have any experiences they would like to share with HT Surgeons in Bay Area, California? Thank you, Michael
  2. Thanks for the words of wisdom. I will continue my research. -Mike
  3. Hey Deebo - I have never been in this situation but if it doesn't get better, I would try some topikk. Hang in there and keep us posted. BTW, who was your surgeon?
  4. This is a horrifying story....especially to a newbie....has anyone heard from deebo? Is he okay? I thought getting an FUE would have faster recovery time than FUT. Is there any long-term results on FUE procedures or people who go through similar experiences post-op?
  5. I am a newbie and plan to get a consultation soon. I would think that 2500 grafts would be enough to see a significant improvement. Then again, I am no HT specialist but I am concerned about what other people are saying here on this thread. Does this mean that he will need another surgery sometime in the future, to get a more denser look? How many grafts is one supposed to get, to get that dense look.
  6. Hey Amthello, I am also thinking about HT surgery. I am trying to find a good surgeon. Who is doing your hair? Why was your brother's HR so unsuccessful? I can imagine how nervous you are because I would be the same in your position. I am considering Dr. Rahal but I am not sure. I am confused as to which surgery is the best. FUT, FUE, or Traditional HT with microscope. Very confusing times for me.... Me = Thinning hair since Jan 2011. DOH! Mike
  7. Thanks for the update el nino. Can you see the scar after getting a buzz cut? In some of your postop pictures, I noticed that the scar was visible. Also, I know this might sound like a dumb question but is necessary for the surgeon to shave off your hair preop?
  8. Hi Castlerock, Thanks for uploading your pics. Keep us posted on your progress. I am a newbie and trying to find a good surgeon. -M
