  4. A 29 yr old male presented with class IV (vertex) Androgenetic Alopecia. He had used oral Finasteride for 18 months, but did not find significant improvement. He then opted for hair transplant surgery. Patient expressed concern about not being able to comb over ,and the thinning crown was bringing down his confidence levels at work. Despite explaining the probability of progressive crown thinning ( as he found Finasteride not useful) he would not opt to leave out the crown. 1483 FUG were added to the front at an average of 30% density and 800 grafts were added to the crown at an average of 20% density. The patient expressed great satisfaction during his visit, 10 months after the procedure. Was extremely pleased with the natural looking hair line 1 hair grafts - 627 2 hair grafts - 1506 3 hair grafts - 150 Total number of grafts - 2283 No of grafts transplanted to the front - 1483 No of grafts to the crown - 800
  5. 31 year old Indian male presented with class IV - vertex, Androgenetic alopecia. Since his early twenties, he had gradual hair loss and evidently bald by twenty-five, which brought down his self-esteem. 7. A 28 yr old Indian male presented with childhood burns injury involving his left half of the scalp. The burns scar is large in area, devoid of hair. This posed a great concern to the patient as he was unable comb over to conceal the huge scar. The area measured 65 square cm. Only 1253 FUG could be transplanted to cover the area with approximately 20% density. Transplanting in a scar requires modifications to the standard procedure. The pictures showing the result were taken at 11 months after surgery. Patient was immensely grateful for the result which made a remarkable change in his personal and social life. I hair grafts – 319 2 hair grafts – 919 3 hair grafts – 15 Total number of grafts – 1253 Total number of hair - 2202
  8. A 27 yr old Indian school teacher, with male pattern baldness class IV vertex approached for hair transplant surgery in order to have a more presentable appearance for his profession. He was looking for more confidence even though his students were just high school children. His donor area was adequate and himself requested to restrict the graft number to less than 3000 wanting to save for future sessions. We had transplanted 2866 FUG. Patient expressed great satisfaction at the end of 9 months. 1 hair grafts – 507 2 hair grafts – 2063 3 hair grafts – 214 Total number of FUG – 2866 Total number of hair - 5179
  9. Patient did not complain of significant shock loss. This could be because of less damage from use of smaller sized needles and also less amount of existing hair at the recipient area
  10. Thank you! FUE has never been my primary procedure. I do small numbers, and combine it with the strip method.
  11. A 47 yr old Indian male, class VII (diffuse pattern), with no prior medication opted to do hair transplant surgery in order to cover the frontal and mid scalp regions, to improve the cosmetic appearance. He had a clear understanding of the coverage possible with the available donor area. Owing to his work schedule, he was not comfortable shaving the existing hair at the recipient site. Grafts were inserted in between existing hair, explaining the probability of shock loss. 2900 FUG were inserted, with special attention to left part side. Patient willingly started oral Finasteride after surgery. My patient is extremely happy at the end of 9 months, grateful for the judicial usage of limited donor area. Being a CEO, he appreciates the unnoticeable and yet significant transformation. One hair grafts-730 Two-hair grafts-1950 Three-hair grafts-220 Total no. of grafts - 2900 Total no. of hairs - 5290
