  1. This is a phenomenal outcome with a small amount of grafts used throughout the scalp. Congratulations! I'm sure you're absolutely thrilled, as you should be.
  2. If one switches from topical to oral, is it a big deal to keep doing topical foam a few days a week as well?
  3. I think you look great with the beard and shaved hair look but I get it if it bothers you. It's all in the eye of the beholder. How about doing some FUE in the balding areas and then SMF to hide the FUE scars and add a little density? You'd still have to wear your hair really short but you might be able to pull off the "I have a full head of hair but buzz it" look.
  4. Yes. Believe me, I was terrified of things not looking natural. I'm sure each situation is different with level of hair loss, etc. but just make sure you find a great surgeon and be realistic and stay more in the conservative range with the expected result instead of trying to lower a hairline 2 inches.
  5. I had my first FUE in 2012 and I've never been asked once if I did something and I have a ton of friends who would 100000% "call me out" on that if they thought something was up. I have had a ton of people tell me I look a lot better has I've gotten older though which I think a lot of it has to do with the HT's.
  6. I feel like you have pretty good coverage but it's just a little thin. Might be a really good case for SMP just to add some density to it.
  7. There was a guy that Ron Shapiro worked on who did a combo FUE + SMP and I thought it looked really good. It's somewhere on the internet and would be a good case study to look at. I think with this strategy, SMP is probably a must, both to add density to the translated area, as well as mask the scarring in the donor area.
  8. I've had 2 FUE's with Dr. Ron Shapiro. I'm not big on posting pics so you won't be able to see, but I can assure you these 2 procedures for me were completely life changing. He is a master at creating natural hairlines. I've never once had anybody ask me if I've done anything.
  9. Agree with others....fin is going to be your best bet to halt/slow down further loss and possibly even thicken things up. In the meantime, if that thinning is bothering you, a tiny bit of Toppik or other concealers will make that area look perfect.
  10. You have a mop on your head! Hair is perfect....might want to work a little on those biceps though!
  11. Yeah....except that none of the stuff you mention in your post actually works to combat hair loss.
  12. This is a terrible idea on a lot of levels, with the main one being you are 24 and have very little to zero hair loss.
