    Thanks a ton @mattj and Spanker.....ur advice av brought sum hope:-) can u please advice for how long this shedding continues any approx timeframe? do u mean to say that whtevr hair loose during this shedding period wud be regained in due time?

    Dear members, u guys are doing a gr8 job by educating on everything related to hairloss and its solutions. i av turned 30 this year and have been thinning at the hair line for a bout 2 years. After going through numerous blogs and posts on this wonderful network i decide to start with minoxidil 10% and finasteride with once a day multivitamins and hair vitamins. now the nioghtmare started :eek: on 2nd week of my regime iav strtd shedding hair like crazy i think arnd 200-300. This has disturbed me to an extent that iam unable to concentrate on my work thus asking for help!! now my questions will be greatful if you can answer these or guide me. . is it normal to shed so much so soon , thought the shedding starts after 6 weeks or so, then y so soon in my case? . should i discontinue finasteride or minox? . i have been losing hair all over even from the back and side, though iam applying minox only at the hair line and vertex,crown? is it bcoz of finasteride? PLEASE HELP GUYS!!
