  1. Hi all, I just recently added my 1 year post op results. I took picture my hair damp and dry. For a recap, I had a strip procedure done by Dr. Ross in San Diego 1 year ago. I had 1423 (293 1's and 1130 2's) FUT. I'm happy in regards to the hair growth. Yet, I'm disappointed in regards to the density I have. I have to use nanogen everyday to give the illusion of density, but I no longer want to do that. I want to be able to go out without putting fibers in my hair. I'm considering another procedure of about 1000 grafts. Do you guys think that would be sufficient? And are there any recommendations for a surgeon in southern california? I dont think I would go back to Dr. Ross for another procedure. Any input is much appreciated! The first seven pics are damp hair and the last 5 pics are dry hair.
  2. I had 1423 (293 1's and 1130 2's) FUT perform by Dr Ross 1 month ago. I would like input on the progress of my transplant 1 month post op. The transplanted hair has started to fall out, I understand that this is normal process. However, I'm concerned that I have excessive shock loss around my donor area. What do you think? ( Pictures are posted under my profile ) I started using 5% minoxidil 2 weeks post op and I have also been taking propecia for the past 3 months. Can I use minoxidil on my donor area? Any advice or input is greatly appreciated.
