  1. I would personally stick with it and see how you go. Only use 1% a max of twice per week. If you feel it is doing more damage than good after a month then stop.
  2. Hi I have been using Minoxidil 5% for 2 weeks applying it once a night. I have noticed that my jaw muscles seem to be really tight and i'm sure it's because of the minoxidil. The strange thing when i used it last year the only side i had was a rapid heartbeat, but i dont seem to have that this time around apart from having tight jaw musles. Anyone else experieneced this?
  3. Hi over the last 3 months i've noticed I have patchy hairloss at the side of my head around my ears and at the back of my head near my neck. i feel its getting worse!! I'm trying to work out what it is and the only thing I can think of is shampoo. I've been washing my hair daily 2x nizoral and 5x alpecin. I have notcied after washing, my hair around the back is a little itchy with Nizoral in particular. Has anyone been having these effects? and does anyone have any tips to get the hair back on the sides and back. Thanx
  4. Hi i'm thinking of trying minoidil but i'm very scared of users in fourms claiming that it's aged them. Are there long term users here??
  5. Anyone here tried nettle root for hairloss? I've got some but i'm unsure of the dosage. Thanx
  6. I was wondering if they're any Cat owners who use Minoxidil on this forum? I've been thinking about using minoxidil for a while but been put off due to it being toxic to cats. Does anyone here use Minoxidil and have cats???
  7. I currently use Nizoral twice a week and put toppik in my hair everyday. I currently wash my hair every night to wash the toppik out using Head and Shoulders. I have heard on the internet that Head and Shoulders is bad for your hair when used daily. Can anyone recommend a good shampoo that won't harm my hair and cause further thinning?
  8. I have a question about Nizoral shampoo. It states in the instructions that it is to be used 1 a week and then you need to stop using the shampoo altogether after 4 weeks if i remember correctly? How many times a week should i be using it and can I use it for life??
  9. Can someone update on this thread? It has been over a year since anyone has posted. I have been using Revivogen for a month now.
  10. Hey guys! I have tried Procerin on two different occasions and have used both serum and tablet form. Back two and a half years ago when i first started to do somthing about my hairloss, i bought the Hairmax Lasercomb which came with a free 3 month supply of Procerin Serum. I decided to try it but found it was horrible to use. I had to use it twice i day and it made my hair look very greasy the very momnet applied it. It made my hair smell a bit also. I stopped using it due to these inconveniences. A year later i found my hair had got a liitle bit worse so i decided to buy a 3 month supply of Procerin tablets. After 3 months i didnt feel any different to before, i therefore stopped the treatment. It was expensive for me as i was a student at the time so i thought what the point if it's not working? I must admit that i wasn't as concious about my hair back then as i am now so maybe i missed the results if i had any? My advice is you should both give it a go for 3 months and see if it works. As SacredHill said there's a money back guarantee. I can also tell you i didn't have any side effects what so ever. I did however have a itchy scalp with the serum. I probably would have given it another go for 6 months if i hadn't found Revivogen. It's is similar to Procerin (all natural) but it is ment to work better. I have been doing to for 1 month so far.
  11. I have been on Revivogen 2 days now so i decided to post some photos of my hair at the start of my treatment. Please bare in mind that my hair looks better than it actually is due to my hair is much longer than usual and i used shampoo today. (WITHOUT conditioner) But, overall it does look better than it actually is.
  12. I have decided to choose Revivogen over Propeica after doing much research and will be starting tonight!! I will be using the Revivogen Solution, Shampoo and Conditioner. I will also be still using my old Hairmax Lasercomb. I will posting updates anlong with pictures to show you my progress. The Images I will be posting though will be my hair without the conditioner in, as the conditioner would make my hair look better than it actually is. I'm not expecting the results of propecia but hoping it will at least stop my hair loss. Decided to choose Revivogen due to the many side effects that Propecia can cause to it's users. If i feel Revivogen isn't effective i can at least have Propecia to fall back on. Pics will be up soon wish me luck!!!!
  13. ah i see. Thanx for your reply i have been wondering about this for a while.
  14. Does anyone have an update on thier use of Revivogen?? I'm thinking about taking it as i'm still unsure about propecia
  15. I live in the UK so i can't do that and i'm not sure if my doctor would perscribe me proscar...just propecia, but worth a try!!
