  1. I'm scheduled for a HT within the week, but have become a bit more apprehensive upon reading a few threads - particularly those centered around the idea of "Am I too young for a HT?" I'm 27 years old and am curious as to whether that particular age legitimately serves as a reason to hold off for the time being. Given age shouldn't be the only factor (clearly Wayne Rooney considered it just a number), I'm also a Norwood 4 with the potential to hit 5, in my opinion, within some months. Especially if I continue teaching HS students in the fall. Given the progression of my hair loss, I keep my hair cut fairly short, and would like to hear personal experiences and/or thoughtful, serious theories on FUT vs FUE for a black male. One worry is centered around post-op aesthetics regarding the linear scar from a FUT. Thanks ahead of time for any pertinent input. Switching gears a bit... When I initially logged in tonight (that is, prior to being inadvertently tempted into forgoing a HT), I simply wanted to jump in the forum and ask around for ideas on post-op care. It's been recommended by my doctor that patients use the Procyte Graftcyte kit (in tandem with Iamin, Rogain, Propecia). However, upon perusing the internet, I've found there are alternatives to the pricier Graftcyte. If I can get information on any productive post-op reginmens/steps folks find to be most useful, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks again and take care!
