  1. I finally found it. It was the work of Dr Ilter from Sweden. http://www.hairlosshelp.net/forums/messageview.cfm?cati...77&FTVAR_MSGDBTABLE=
  2. Smoking, drink and bad nutrition would lead to some nutritional deficiencies that might worsen/accelerate hair loss. A healthier life style would effect your hair, yes.
  3. I can't get over how big these wounds appear. Is this normal .75 punching?

  5. Here's one more view that looks better. The first one looks like pretty long peaks.
  6. From what you can see is this too extreme of a jagged hairline? Will it look odd grown out? I have seen jagged but not quite like this and not sure if it is a good design or not.

  8. Interesting. I suspect this shot of the temple point rebuild doesn't look very natural in person. http://hairtransplant.com/gallery/density601.htm It sure doesn't look natural in the picture. The other temple is very abrupt also. I would be careful of a doctor that can't see this problem. Don't go solely on price.
  9. I am in Los Angeles and saw that ad in the Los Angeles times. My friend was ready for transplants and I gave him the ad to investigate. I never thought he would just go and schedule a surgery based solely on price, but he did. When I saw the hairline I was shocked. It was perfectly straight edged U-shape that was too low for his 46 year old face. He told me that a young girl had drawn the hairline on and asked him was he thought. He was so freaked out by the whole thing he just said fine. No one else had any input into the hairline design. It looked horrible when it began to grow. After a year of hat wearing he went to HandW to see if it could be fixed. They did their thing and it looks 80% better. Still too low but not the first thing you notice since it is more natural looking. Also they told him at HandW that he had received far fewer grafts than he had paid for. Whether that is true or not, I don't know. I do know that it looked horrible....since I saw it with my own eyes. I thank god it wasn't me.
  10. You can see the goose bump effect in this picture. How can I avoid this happening to my grafts? What is the main cause of this?

  12. Now I read that he is not FUE proficient or won't do FUE megasessions. Is he primarily a strip guy?
  13. Off topic I know. You all seem to be on the cutting edge of hair transplants. If you were wanting a new face to go with the new hair. Here is a picture of what is possible with ones own ass fat these days. Absolute cutting edge fat grafting done with permanent injections. This is one lucky bastard if you ask me; 100% improvement. Probably cost him about 40k though. Amazing huh? Just wanted to share my research.

  15. Looks the slightest bit off kilter but nice nonetheless.
  16. Guys, what do you think of this hairline I drew? Also how many grafts do you think it would take to fill this area? My hair is full everywhere else. Would this be Norwood 2 or 3? Thanks.

  18. When hairsite4 is abuzz with him. The accolades for a doctor who has done only FUE for 12 months seems disproportionate... Then you get here and he registers not a blip. Are they just shills for him there or what? Los Angeles doctor in case you don't know him.

  20. I don't think he is a favored doctor around here but I am thinking about Dr. Armani for my under 2000 FUE grafts. He IS aggressive with the hairline but I think if I reign him in and do a little HandW sharktoothing with the hairline and not close the temples as much I may just end up with a masterpiece hairline. His density looks phenomenal and I have design background so I think I can eyeball his drawn line and adjust it for my face. What do you think of this plan? I have my fathers hairline totally and believe I am done receding. I also have an abundance of donor hair. A thyroid condition caused thinning of my hair last year and the cancellation of my HT and now that I am better I am checking all my options again. Let me know your opinions of guiding Armani

  22. Dr. Glassman. I plan on going in the next two weeks. Weather-wise it is the best time to go.
  23. I e-mailed him asking for the price of 1500 FUE and he quoted $6000. So $4.00 a graft. $3.00 for strip.
  24. Just hit the yellow ENGLISH button. I know what FUE is and he does FUE (and has since the early 80's). Some doctors and patients talk like it is something new, when in fact it was considered a far less superior method because of the root damage it caused. Doctors don't like to do it I have found...Rassman, Berstein....even Uebel. But I am determined not to have a big long scar for just 1200 grafts. I am investigating hair multiplication also in mexico [] .
