I hear so much of Eugenix but do I really need to schlep all the way to India? There is not alternative?

Hey guys,

So it seems I simply have a massive bold crown where I don't have enough donor hair. I was recommended transplant from the beard but a hughly recommended doctor told me that the beard hair is different and it won't look natural. Did anyone have a good experience with this beard procedure and if yes who would you recommend?

I hear you, unfortunatly DR Rahal already put a scar on me with almost no results. So I'm a bit stuck

I do not, I live in Montreal. It was all from the pictures. But jumping on a plane to Toronto is not a big deal for me.

So a lot of you are suggesting beard, but doesn't transplant means leaving scars or spots. Wouldn't using my beard mean that I would never be able to shave it off?

Is there something closer than Germany or India, I live in Canda.

At this moment my goal is just to improve especially the front. I can live with the the bold crown, I think

First of all I have to give kuddos to the Wong/Hasson team for being so honest. They unfortunately gave me sad news today.

"I can see that you have very aggressive retrograde alopecia on the sides of your cranium and a very narrow supply of usable donor hair that will not yield much more than a conservative hairline in the front of your scalp at best.

With respect – your cranium size is very large and the area to reconstruct is very large. 

We concur with James that it would not be in your best interest to have the surgery as you will not be content with a little hairline work as the mid scalp and rear crown region will be bare with time – the ultimate look will not look natural .

I was wondering that maybe someone would have a solution for me, or maybe feel that this was misread. The side hair is a reality from my first surgery, and I don't think this is Alpocia, but who knows. Hoping to hear some interesting alternatives

Sure I came in slightly bald, I came out a bit less bald after 3000 graphs. Dr Rahal was perfectly satisfied with his work, not willing to admit how unimpressive was the performance. It was also extremely painful. I feel he is a very good marketer

I had a pretty bad experience with DR Rahal, so I'm not surprised.

I had an unsuccessful procedure with him unfortunately and he has a fairly killer marketing team behind him to make sure that he stays popular. I hope you will have a better experience.

I think that most people do understand that fact, and can appreciate that this is a private forum that can suppress speech as much as they want. There is really no legal repercussion, just like there is no legal repercussion for Dr Rahal failing to deliver results or proper estimation for me. Saying that there are consequences where it comes credibility. This Network claims to take a neutral stand on the topic, By suppressing speech they are failing to deliver on their promise or at least our assumption of that promise. Saying that, I have been posting quiet a few messages here and unlike my first post that has been removed they seemed to tolerate the rest of the discussion. So thank you for that. It is becoming an interesting debate :-) and I'm no longer as frustrated, lol

And it amazes me even more that some people don't understand the basic fact that the Constitution only restricts GOVERNMENT suppression of speech. It has absolutely no bearing on speech regulation between private individuals--such as an online forum. The moderators can boot your ass for saying "Hi" if they want to. A restaurant can remove you for raising your voice. None of this has any relation to the Constitution. Didn't you people take high school civics?!

I just want to forcefully rebut this based on my own, recent experience. I scheduled and paid for a 2,000 graft procedure. My final graft count, though, was 2,123, and the graft differential was complimentary. All good clinics SHOULD count grafts--and not only the grafts, but the hairs per graft--and provide the patient with a tally of how many grafts and hairs were implanted. Accusing a clinic of simply throwing away grafts because the count was above and beyond what the patient paid for is one of the most serious accusations that could be leveled against a clinic. Dr. Rahal is not perfect, and he has his disappointed patients like anyone else, but it is unimaginable that a surgeon of his caliber and reputation would do something like that. He certainly did not throw away my extra grafts.

David, I was not anonymous I went out of my way to prove to you that I'm a legitimate client of DR Rahal, this was real effort to legitimize my claim and I'm clearly not trying defame him on behalf of some competition. You just decided to be a stickler for the rules to a level that questions your credibility as a moderator. The internet is full of reviews and it is the accumulation of the reviews that makes you decide which service to use, and people should have the permission to decide how much content they would want to make accessible online. I made a clear decision that I don't want image of myself online, this is not so unreasonable. To start making every reviewer prove that he is legitimate is crazy and even if I provide images I have no idea how to prove that Dr Rahal wanted to charge me more for the extra follicles.

That is a fact. My account might be suspended very soon for telling you that :-)

I also would like to welcome you to the 21st century where limiting free communication on the internet is the perfect way for you to lose credibility. Suspending me will only prove that you have something to hide, and will make it more personal for me.

Bill common, you guys have been defending Dr Rahal the second I mentioned anything negative and then you insisted on pictures which gave you permission to remove the entire post. Even before the request for pictures, when I said that DR Rahal counted every follicle and throws out the rest your buddy denied it on behalf of DR Rahal like he work for him and I have no idea how picture evidence would prove it otherwise. I sent you a full proof that I was a legitimate client and the DR confirmed and you guys still continued to defend him.

I have no idea if DR rahal pays you or not but you are clearly not a neutral bystander and I'm sure you wouldn't scrutinize me if this would have been a Doctor that you don't like.

So you can say bullshit all you want, but your behavior clearly questions your crediblity

Hey Sorry for the delayed response. I have to be careful the Admins might remove my post for saying bad stuff about Dr Rahal.

In reality the estimation that I was given with DR rahal's assistant was completely different that what DR rahal told me once I reached his office. He didn't even apologize or care about that miscalculation.

Yeah, what does 'screwed' mean? Do you mean that once you arrived and were personally inspected by the doctor, he thought you needed (or he could only transplant) fewer grafts?

 

FWIW, I had my procedure with Dr. R yesterday and I'm in a recliner at the guest house as I write this. The guest house is such a perfect concept that I'm amazed no other clinic has duplicated it. There are four of us here post-op, swapping war stories, inspecting each others' work, ordering takeout together, and trading contact information. Such a fun experience.

I had a very bad experience but this forum does not permit to place bad reviews without pictures about dr Rahal. So I'm just saying to watch out.

THis forum does not permit bad review with no pictures. So I'm just saying you might want to consider other doctors.

Do yourself a favor, reconfirm the follicle estimation. I got really screwed and unfortunately still bald
