Uk finasteride is a great source for the drug, I have used them for 3 years now, You can opt for either Proscar, generic 5mg of finpecia 1mg. Email them after you have signed up as a new patient and then they get back to you within hours and you meds are at your house as fast as first class can deliver I guess! Excellent

Hi, It won't jump start the transplanted hair, by definition the hairs tat have been transplanted into the new area are genetically protected from loss. What I was meaning was that often a lot of peopel have native hair around the area which has been transplanted unless your completely bald. So here you would still want to protect those hairs. the transplanted hair has no dependency to the minox you should not lose the transplanted hair as they are gentitically protected form loss. just use the minox as a safeguard on the rest of the hair that you have and forget about it

The scar looks pretty thin you are just having the slight shock loss of surrounding area, give it a few months, start putting some minoxidil foam on there that what I did it will help kick start the growth again I had the same thing don't worry 2 months later back to normal

Minoxdil is there to provide vasodilation to the surrounding native hair,,, it has great results and if you are prone to any kind of loss it should be part of your daily routine just like brushing your teeth. We know it works so why put the doubt into the equation? Use the foam it is less irritating and better for a transplanted area initaily

I am now 7 months post 2nd surgery, and I have to say that the scar's chracateristsics are perfetc, i.e. ZERO ittching, no irritation no loss of nerve sensation, no ridge nothing, Bear in mind it has to do with the number of grafts i.e how wide the strip is. For exampe my first proceedure was around 2300 and the scar was good but noticeably more irritation to this one which was under 2000. Thought I'd show some pics of what a quality scar should look like and what expectations you can look for ( obviosuly individual physiology plays a great part in this) this is based on you having good healing qualities to trauma. This is a progression of scar healng from 10 days at staple removal - note how pink and raw it looks and indeed feels to the touch. then at 28 days still vsisbily quite red and pink and quite noticeable in terms of colour, but look at 4 months the scar is much much lighter in color and is healing execptionally well, you can see the close up picture of the hairs growing through a good tricho closure. 1 year down the line this will have improved even more. A few notes this was approx 1900- 2000 strip procedure with Dr Feller after a first Ht of 2250. I felt this was even better healing than the first not to say that the fisrt one as bad, just the nature of the fact that it was slighlty less grafts a good response considering the trauma and tension that was taken for round one. I dont even feel or notice the scar at all in fact the laxity of the whole domor area is just as it was prior to any Ht before. Which is probably why I cant feel any hiint of surgery or a scar. This again reaffirms the tremendoud resulst and work Dr Feller does every day Hope this helps settle a few nerves and shows what you can expect from a quality surgeon. best Uk R

[4 month update] thught id post again after 1 month, the grafts are pretty much fallen out, however as you can see the native hair in mid scalp area and the surrounding hair line is grown back nicely, this is all he original hair in the first place as the new grafts which were placed in between the existing hairs are yet to come through. here are some pics of how well the scar has healed at 4 months it really is abeat, no irritation, pain or anything.

I also am waiting patiently for my 2nd Ht to come to fruition, even though I have been through the process before witha tremendous result which was not complete until around 12-14 months I was well happy arund 9 months. Now I am also waiting for the 2nd one to come through. You have to just forget about it and get consumed with a passion/ hobby or something that can take your mind of things and before you know it you will be stunned at just how much hair you have grown. yes its the best yet - you need less of it and it sticks to the hair better rather than the scalp with nanogen/ toppik

Don't under estimate what 1200 grafts of 3/4 hair untis with coarse hair can do. It all individual. He will be packing in the multiple hair grafts which by definition will giv eyou more coverage than singles and of course no quality surgeon would waste singles inthis area but when taking strip you get around 20% singles per strip. Just see my Ht's i had 400 or so into the mid scalp, I said is that all? Trust me here what ever the number of grafts Dr feller think you will need believe me the job will be done with the number he thinks. Even though he says 1200 he may get more and he will stick em in . This guy treats each patient like a work of art the last thing you want to be doiing is questioning the amount of grafts he has quoted based on other pics and peoples opinions. Look at it this way..... How many Dr feller patients went over there for a procdeure and 12 months later said rubbish and only got a partial result through lack of grafts??? I can't see any? The final graft number and decsion will be made on the day. This is not for you to worry about. Youl will get the right result with the haisr that are needed now stop stressing and think about what you might want to do in new york if you have a spare day or two come back and post the enjoyable results over the next year best Uk R

Get the very best you can't afford. You have to take a loan anyway I would save for the air faire/ coach/ train ticket or whatever and get to someone who can do a lot with the minimum amount of grafts. Tough decision and probably emotionally right up there with buying a huse, getting married and the rest. No regrets is what we want you could have two; 1 you chose a guy who was not upto scratch 2. you never went that extra mile and stretched urself to get the best you can't afford. You need to go to the guys that get mentioned here the most, feller, lindsey, rahal, shapiro, and a few others your future confidence, self esteema and quality of life is worth the extra it just is - self esteema nd feeling good about yourself is the most important thing we as human can have take that away we become sheltered and never live a full life. best Uk R

Oh Baldone.......... Don't let ocaton be the determining factor of choosing one of the most important decsions you will make with regards to yourself esteem and quality of life. Toronto is not far to New York and Ok Vancouver is a little trek but it is always worth the extra effort for travel tog get teh best you can best, Uk

For FUE or even standrda strip I would reccomend DR Feller the guy created the tool used by many clinics and he also trained some of the top guy as well, the others are all good also think about Dr Lindsey based in washington. Def worth the trip to the states

Hi, Your question to: that's why I made this post, I would like to know if ANYONE OUT THERE has found a way of avoiding propecia nd still have a good treatment with little to NO side effects. Tough answer, what is a good treatmebt to one person is not to another, what is good growth to onne person is rubbish to another. Expectation of treatment and result is key? Are you wanting the full shed of hair that you once sported when you were at your best ? Or are you happy to hold onto waht you have and prey nothing else happnes? The thing is when we see something work a little even if means no more hairs on the pillow or the shower by using minoxidil for example we start thinking well, mmm oim not using propecia yet? Im not using Nizzoral either, maybe if i stuck those bad botys into the mix I will get even better results., its inevtiable that is what we all think and want. So the question you have to ask yourself is what expectation are you wanting and what would you settle for? But the only issue is ieven though for example you use minoxsil and it has actuall halted some loss and even grown back some hair, at some point your hairl oss will profress and get worse it just will that means will minxidil still be able to hold the hair? probably not The question you will then ask yoursel, what if............. what if I took action against the effects of DHt as early as possible which gave all my existing hair follices the protection tey needed to stop minimization and allow the haisr to contunue in a healthy state, woudl I have no had more hair left than if I did not use DHT inhibition medication? thexanswer most assurable will be Yes. You have to put all things nto perspective yes there probably are more side effects than the 2% stated on clinical data I mean there are millions more people now takig the drug than 10 years ago, but at the same time there ar emillions of poeple without any issue. EVERY single drug made has the potential for side effects, take the NSAIDS like Arcoxia also made by MSD - read the side effects list it actually stae DEATH as a side effect ! you have to give DHT inhibition a shot and do the sensible thing and taper urself up as slowly as possbile like on epill a week or something for a good 3 months - if your gonna be serious about doing all you can to stop hair loss you haveto commit to the big 3 and as a last resort HT when your over 30 in my opinion. there body of data that supports positive finasteride over negative is non comparable. best Uk R

[update 3 months ] Greetings everyone, thought i'd post up some 3 months pics,. Even though th epics show only a little growth the actual overal appearence of the hair once styled etc is miles better than 3 months agao, I no longer need any fibres to cover up the mid scalp arae and when I wear the hair flat and straight forward no eveidence of any HT or loss of hair. but for the sake of comparison Im brushingit all backl so you can see like for like. the scar is behaving wonderfully. In fact if it can be its better than last time round no sensitivity there was no shock loss belwo the scar ( whih I had first time) and already the laxity has some back lalost like no flesh was ever taken. post another update in a while grow well wveryone

You got to give it a shot. THink of it this way, hair loss is progressive, it will get worse and worse, not in a linear fashion, it might stabilise for a while then go nuts and lose a shed load more. The best thing you can do is give some kind of 'insurance' and protect what you do have from DHT. It will certainly be a good investment for the future. I think I got a shed some months in I can't remember, good luck
