  1. Bro, you on any meds? Just wondering. How old are you?
  2. Sean, things are looking good. One question, have you experienced any sides on Finasteride? How long have you been taking it?
  3. Sorry OP, I swear I am not trying to hijack this thread. Sean, yes they are very recent. I have some more recent ones with my hair grown out and those are the ones that Chad/Dr. Rahal used to give me the worst case scenario balding pattern. Everyone tells me it's not bad and my girlfriend and friends all tell me that don't think I am balding, but I have definitely had some significant recession since my early 20s (I will post some photos from then as well to compare). Alex, he said that it was the worse case scenario balding pattern if my pattern continues to develop over the next 20+ years. My main concern is having a ridiculous ring of hair at the front and bald spots behind the hair line (as I age). If I can't develop a plan to address the balding pattern over the course of my life, I can't bring myself to do the surgery since meds my body freak out. I have seen a great deal of FUE work from Rahal in emails from Chad and can say it's all amazing work, but the majority of the patients are on meds, which differs from my situation and in the long run is the issue (severe balding behind the transplant, even after subsequent surgeries) I am having.
  4. I have been in contact with Chad at Dr. Rahal's office over the past few months about a 2,000 FUE procedure and am debating on whether or not to do it. My main concern is that I can't take meds due to sides from past use (all subsided after stopping use) and don't want a super thin result as I lose more hair (I am 30 now and on the way to a NW4 or 5 according to Dr Rahal). I'll be interested to watch your progress. One question, do you think you would still do the surgery if you were unable to take meds?
  5. I have been taking it for about two months now, every day. One 450 mg capsule with One tablet of Beta Sitosterol as well (beta sitosterol is the active ingredient in saw palmetto). It seems to be keeping hairs from falling out, but I have no objective data. Also, it seems to kill my libido and I have to take creatine and keep a super clean diet to have a sexual urge. Of course, the lack of libido could also be from mild depression from loosing hair. I'm not sure.
  6. How much Saw Palmetto did/do you take Sparky? I take a 320mg gelatin capsule daily.
