  1. I added more/better photos to my blog for my 10 month post operation. Check out the link directly below.
  2. I have posted pictures from 10 months since the procedure. Also you can find my 4 month pictures. I have my one year consulatation coming up within a few months with Dr. Harris. I have noticed a little growth in both my scar and front hairline, but not nearly as much as I would expect. I am hoping that some more growth comes in within the next few months. Let me know your thoughts please. My Hair Loss Website - FUE Hair Transplant with Dr. Jim Harris
  3. Thanks a lot. I am glad that this shock loss is something normal. I am hoping that the original hair is "normal" but that is just wishful thinking I'm afraid.
  4. It has been about 2 months since I had a FUE surgery where I had about 500 grafts placed into my frontal hairline as well as about 250 placed into an existing strip surgery scar. Within the last week or two all th hair that was transplanted in the frontal area has fallen out (which I know is normal) but the the existing hair from before the transplant has also fallen out and I am very concerned. Is this normal? It looks very bad because it is very obvious the area where the hair was transplanted into because it is completely balled now! Also, the frontal area is still slightly red. Is this normal? Lastly, the scar from a previous surgery where I had about 250 grafts transplanted is still very tight. Is this normal? I have contacted my doctor and he should be getting back to me soon, but I wanted to get other experts take on the situation. Thanks!

  6. I just had a 700 FUE session with Dr. Harris who is located in Denver, CO. He is recomended on here and I have heard nothing but good things. He did a great job on me all though I am still waiting to see the results as I only had the procedure done a few weeks ago. I will be updating my hair loss blog (link is below) very soon and you can take a look at some of the pics. My story is similar to yours as we are both young and experienceing hair loss. Let me know if you want to know more about Dr. Harris and his team. I will try to answer any quetions oyu have as good as I can. Good Luck!
  7. I have posted pictures from the day of the procedure. One week updates to come soon! I do have a few questions for the forum if anyone might have some thoughts. My old scar from my previous HT where I had about 300 grafts placed from this procedure is raised and red and very tight and it has been almost 2 weeks since my procedure. Is this normal? I have contacted Dr. Harris and he should be getting back to me soon, but I wanted your guys thoughts. Thanks.
  8. Below is the blog I will be keeping to show before and after pics. I will be trying to update daily for first week and then once a week after that. http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=1698
  9. I am going to Colorado tomorrow for a FUE procedure with Dr. Jim Harris. I am having scar repair done from my first strip method surgery as well as recieving some grafts in my frontal hairline. I am looking at about 300 grafts to the scar and 400 grafts to the frontal hairline. I will be posting pics and giving frequent updates so everyone can folllow along. If the procedure goes as planned I am hoping to come back for a few more to fill in the frontal and mid areas more and then eventually the crown. Everyone cross your fingers and wish me luck! Many pics to come...
  10. Thanks for the thoughts guys. I am thinking about going with the strip again and have to old one cut out so it can be redone. I do like to cut my hair really short so I am hoping the new doctor can do a better job with the suture. I have been told my head is not very elastic so I can only do 800-1000 grafts for my second HT. Does this mean this could be my last using the strip method? Overall I probably need to add about 4000 grafts to get full coverage.
  11. I have looked at Dr. Parsleys profile and some of his previous work and I am impressed so far, but there isn't a whole lot of stuff out there. I am just wondering what people have heard from word of mouth or if any of his previous patients would like to chime in. A few questions I have are: Is he using the tri-closure when suturing? How does his scars look? Does he offer FUE? Is he expensive compared to others?
  12. If I have the HT I will be sure to track my progress vigorously so others can follow along and see the true results.
  13. I am considering having a HT done in the upcoming month and am trying to figure out if I should go with the strip method or FUE. I had a HT (1800 grafts) done abot 4 years ago and need a repair HT to correct the scar and also to add more to my hairline. What are the pros and cons of each method? Who are some good docs for the strip method? Who are some good docs for the FUE method?
