  1. 💯 And if you have aren't having any sides then keep it going on the fin, though after 18 months you are unlikely to see any more appreciable gains. Still, that doesn't mean fin isn't helping maintain the quality of your donor region.
  2. This. You'll see higher NW's from Dr. K, some of them with very little to work with, but most will be multiple procedures like myself. Here's an example of a high NW, repair case of his.
  3. I frankly forgot. I've had FUT's with three different docs and I think they all had different time frames. The common theme was to start back lightly.
  4. If you try lifting too soon you'll feel the scar area throb. Of course, STOP if that happens and delay lifting for another week or so.
  5. My favs are Dr. Konior in Chicago and Dr. Ron Shapiro in Minneapolis if you're willing to travel. The others are right, you have MPB. Get on fin (propecia) ASAP and try it for a year before you get a transplant. If you care about your hair now, you'll care about it in your 30's, 40's and beyond - I can guarantee that 😉
  6. Yeah, I agree with the others that you are already a NW6 heading towards a NW7. If H&W refused you then that says something about your case. I'd recommend coming to terms with shaving it off. Perhaps you can treat the FUE scars with SMP. Your darker hair color might actually be great for SMP.
  7. In the subject you said HT but in the post you said forehead reduction, which is another surgery. I assume you mean you got a hair transplant because of the pitting. This will eventually settle down and hopefully you'll get more growth as your only 7 months post-op. But it looks as if the graft placement was fairly spread out.
  8. So you've had a transplant before? How old are you? Have you tried fin or dut?
  9. I'm a big proponent of the "strip out first, then FUE" approach, but the challenge is to know when to switch over from strip to FUE. The more strips you take out the higher the risk of stretching the scar, but perhaps you will obtain more lifetime grafts. If you've already done two strips, one being a 4k graft megasession, then Dr. Hasson is probably right in telling you that FUE is the way to go now. Trust your doc!
  10. Pics are too dark, but I'd have to agree with @Gatsby that you're a NW6 in the making. You have to assume that every hair on top will be gone in a couple years, unless you get on fin, and even that won't keep them for very long. Fin might be good to help keep your crown and lateral humps from dropping.
  11. The results and the scar are unfortunate. Have you been in touch with the clinic? As the others have said we need higher quality pre-op photos to accurately assess your case. Are you on finasteride or minoxidil?
  12. An appreciable density boost in the frontal 3rd, great work! 👏 The crown looks better too - was this area transplanted or is this result of finasteride/minoxidil? Would love to see immediate post-op pics.
  13. You'll certainly be stressing if your transplant shocks out surrounding native hair. Proceed with caution.
  14. Agree with @digi23, don't get a HT. Stay on fin and min, but don't ruin a perfectly good head of hair with a crappy transplant from Turkey.
  15. Give Fin a few more months, but keep Dutasteride in mind as a plan B.
  16. Looks like a full head of hair to me. Congrats! 👏 Happy you went FUT?
  17. @FUTAug2021 You're on your way for a hairy 2022!
  18. One of the more natural Diep hairlines I've seen recently. The length (style) and the silver makes the most of the results. Certainly could use another round to bulk things up, but I wouldn't touch the hairline.
  19. Just fantastic! 😎 Those 13 months flew by, huh? It feels like yesterday when you were just looking into clinics. You choose wisely.
  20. No one would be able to tell that's a transplant. Nice to see it fully blossom! Donor looks untouched as well. 👏
