  1. I started weight lifting at month 2 (not very hard) and didn't really feel my scar. Now 3 months+1week and i started with heavy weight lifting. The only time i felt something was in the 2month mark doing crunches, so i stopped.
  2. Its 30 seconds you have to live with it, all those people don't know you so you shouldn't really care about what they think. 90% of the guards will tell you to put the cap in the scanner or at least show them you are not hiding anything
  3. 21years in march and made the HT 3 days before my birthday *_*
  4. Well if you were wondering.. I talked again with Mar?a, Dr Rahal patient advisor and she misunderstood me, it seems i can't go to the solarium because its the same as the sun. I guess i'm gonna have to live with those tanning creams or sprays. Take care
  5. just remember you have to avoid concealers for at least first month post op
  6. So i had my HT almost 2months and 2 weeks ago. Since we can't take direct sunlight, im interested in Solarium or tanning bed or whatever you wanna call it. I asked Dr Rahal's patient advisor and she told me it was ok to go to the solarium after 4 weeks, but all my friends tell me its the same as the sun so im pretty confused. What do you guys say? Dr Feller? Thanks in advance

  8. I'm using Nanogen and have used Toppik, they are practically the same
  9. Hey badboy. I haven't read all the posts but i feel identified with you. I'am 21 years old and my hair is very much like yours. I decided and had my operation 1.5 months ago with Rahal so feel free to follow mine because you will see your head right there What can i say? it sucks big time.
  10. I am 1 month and 9 days post HT and i can assure you i have very little mofos growing from my scalp
  11. You have to use it unil the scabs are gone. At least thats what Dr Rahal said to me.
  12. The first days that i had to go from the clinic to the hotel i used the one my doctor gave me, which was a very very very awful, like a blue paper for patients in a hospital. By the time i had to fly to my home i bought and used this: its 100% Cotton (what you need) and if you buy a big size it won't even touch your grafts. my 2 cents.
  13. lovetospoon actually i was wondering the same, haha. imagine everybody thinking you are a crazy sicko with white suncreen all over your hair. I'm going to LA 5 month post op, i'll buy some spray
  14. Rahal is a great surgeon, thats why i decided to make my HT with him. But you are mixing concepts here. I would really love to hear a doctor's perspective on this one.
  15. So question answered, im not going to start rogaine just to stop it later as the result of my HT will be the same.
  16. I can manage eating a pill once a day (propecia) for the rest of my life. But when it comes to rogaine, its a no no. I'm 1month post OP and i didn't start with rogaine, but using it only for a year makes me wonder if i should or not.
  17. Hello Peeps, first of all i would like to introduce myself I'm new to the forums but i have been updating my HT blog which you can find here: http://hairtransplantnetwork.c...-page.asp?WebID=1149 To the point. After my HT, Dr Rahal recommended the use of Rogaine in the transplanted area for 1 year. My question was, why? 1 year? it is known that after you stop using rogaine you lose everything and also the new transplanted hair shouldn't have any kind of problems. - He said that this helps the grafts to grow faster and thicker. Now, he is not the only doctor that recommends doing this, Alvi Armari and some more do. What do you think about it? do the doctor recommend the use of rogaine so the after-ht pics are better and they can sell more? or is it really beneficial for our HT? Thanks!
