  1. A bottle of xyon dut is only 130 dollars and lasts for three months? Is this correct? I am on the xyon topical finasteride and a 3 month bottle costs $297.
  2. I apply the xyon topical each morning after I shower and let my hair dry to the point where it is damp. The product is on my scalp until the next morning.
  3. Very impressive result. In his 12 month photos his crown looks much improved even though he had no grafts placed there. Did he start medical therapy at the time of his procedure?
  4. Looks incredible and only a relatively small number of grafts used. Is this patient on medication? What is his total donor capacity?
  5. Wow! Your hair is looking great including the donor area. Did the doctor mention how many grafts you have in reserve if you decide to go for another procedure in the future?
  6. I have been using the Xyon topical finasteride for over a year with no scalp irritation.
  7. Hey FollicleFella! How are you? I was wondering if you had any hair updates for us?
  8. Unreal result. You look fantastic. That was a good decision to opt for fut as your donor area looks untouched and will provide a lot more grafts should you ever need them. Did Dr. Wong ever mention your total donor capacity? Are you on finasteride?
  9. 300 bucks a month!! ....... wow ....... I thought I read that one pump of the topical fin typically reduces systemic dht by 30 percent. So, would 3 pumps potentially lead to a 90 percent reduction (20 percent more than 1 mg oral finasteride)? AIso, is there any evidence at this point to substantiate the idea that either of the xyon topicals are more effective than their oral counterparts at reducing scalp dht?
  10. I'm on the topical fin. One bottle lasts 3 months at one pump per day. I can't get anywhere close to covering my entire scalp with one pump. Three pumps would be more like it, however, then I would be tripling the cost and potentially tripling the the amount of the drug that goes systemic. So, if you're using three pumps per day you would go through a bottle per month??? No sides using 3 pumps?
  11. Congratulations on a terrific result. You mentioned that Dr. Rahal was sceptical that he would be able to get the planned upon 3000 grafts. Why? Has your total donor capacity been used up?
  12. I never did try the oral version which I really regret. I may try it at some point. The short coming of the topical is that the prescribed dosage (1 pump) does not cover the entire top of the scalp. The problem is compounded if you have a lot of hair. Of course, with the oral medication, the entire scalp is benefitting. Something I have thought about is that although the topical does not reduce systemic dht levels as much as the oral version, there is still some reduction. Perhaps this reduction is enough to provide at least some protection to the scalp areas not receiving the xyon application.
  13. I have been on it for about 15 months. I only apply it to the crown area. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures to share, however it seems that the topical has at least stabilized the situation. Perhaps a little bit of regrowth as well. As I recall, I started the medication not long before topical dut became available in Canada. I may consider switching at some point.
  14. I have been on the xyon topical finasteride for almost 15 months. I have experienced no side effects to this point. My hairloss seems to have stabilized and I have experienced some regrowth. I'm knocking on wood as I type this because I really hope the medication continues to be effective.
  15. So, you're applying two pumps worth of product on a daily basis with no sides? I am currently on the xyon topical finasteride. There is no chance I could cover the whole top of my head with one pump, so I have been applying only to the back half of the top of my head. I have considered applying two pumps worth each day, however, I have been reluctant to do so because of increased risk for side effects. Of course, it would also double the cost.
  16. One of my favorite surgeons. I always look forward to his results and top-notch presentations. A few things stood out to me about this one. Firstly, the patient was a repair case with fine-caliber hair, yet, Dr. De Freitas was still able to achieve a beautiful result with good density. Secondly, the patient's donor seems to be very well managed as he has probably had somewhere in the neighborhood of 6500+ grafts extracted over the course of his three procedures.
  17. This is coming along nicely. Personally, when I look at your head-on pictures I think your hairline is in a good spot. Not too high. That tweak to your temples was a good decision. Apologies if u mentioned this already, but I was wondering how many grafts went placed in the crown?
  18. Congrats man! Was wondering how you were progressing. Your density looks amazing, even your wet look is sweet. Really happy for you. What do you think of the fibres? I've sometimes toyed with the idea of giving them a try.
  19. Fantastic work. As usual. I'm always excited to check out your most recent results. Certainly a life changing result for this patient.
  20. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures, however, my hair was buzzed right off when I started the xyon and now its a few inches long so it would be hard to compare. I can say that I definitely have less visible scalp now.
  21. Woohoo! That is looking unreal. The growth is really kicking into high gear. I know you didn't have work done on your crown but its looking terrific at that length as well. Happy for you!
  22. Thanks for checking into this. I was curious about that.
  23. That's good. I've been on it for 4 months and I seem to be making some progress. Application is a pain in the azz though if your hair is longer.
