  1. Hi guys. I am yet undecided as to whether to use farjo or not. I am concerned about the UK surgeons reputation but will certainly give him the benefit of the doubt and have a consultation with him. The results on his website certainly look good. I am going to use nizorol, minoxidil and propecia for a year prior to making a decision in order to reduce shock loss and try to avoid or slow further hair loss. This seems to be strongly recommended throughout this site and I will not argue as you all seem to know your stuff. Thanks, J
  2. Hi, I remember reading that body hair can be used as donor hair. Does this work, has anybody got any experience with this?? Thanks, J.

  4. PS balody- have you ever used any kind of topical thickeners. I have used dermatch for some time and find it works really well but my hair is becomming a bit thin now to support it but it looks really natural and the results are great as long as there is a base of hair, might work quite well for you. Thanks again, J.
  5. Thanks balody, very helpful. I think your results are good, especially considering the size of the area requiring coverage. Do you mind me asking what your procedures cost? I don't mind at all if this is private. Thanks again. J.
  6. Hi, I am based in the UK and wondered if anyone could recommend Dr Farjo in Manchester. His pics look quite good but theres nothing quite like hearin it from a patient. Thanks, J.
  7. Hi again, it's prob worth mentioning that the hair on top of my head is a couple of inches long so will disguise any HT's if it is poss to do. Thanks, J.
  8. Hi, does anybody have experience with a good surgeon (anywhere in world) that performs a good HT wothout necessarilly cutting the hair really short so that the surgery is easily hidden? I know it's a silly reason but I thought worth factoring into my research. Thanks. J.

  10. Hi El Nino, thank you for replying to my post. I had a look at the website of the surgeon that performed your ht and it looks outstanding. Do you mind me asking how much your procedure has cost you in total, I know it will vary from person to person but I would just like to gain a rough idea. Thank you very much for taking the time to contact me. *sole_man* (J). ps- thanks again to everyone else as well.
  11. Thanks for the immediate response guys, I have to say it's good to have found such a great network. I am a pretty fit guy already, a marathon runner in fact and am now dedicated to taking the meds. I have had buzz cuts in the past but seem to have a odd shaped head, if you've ever seen coneheads you'll get an idea of what it's like :-) I will sift through all the research and recommendations on here. I am not about to rush into it after reading a lot of the horror stories. Thanks again guys, really nice of you to take the time. I hope one day I am in the position to advise people trying to find their way in this situation, J.
  12. Hi, I live in the UK and am obviously losing my hair. I am 28 and use dermatch and toppik to hide it as best I can. I have been on propecia for about a year and am starting on 12% minoxidil on prescription from a tricologist to retain what hair I have. Provided I am not under a bright light I am often told what nice thick hair I have, but unfortunately it is just an illusion as I reckon I have lost half the hair on the top of my head now. I am looking at hair transplant options and was one step away from using choi method at NHI in athens until I found this site, which seems to be very impartial and informative. I did think if it seems too good to be true......you know the rest. I could really use some advice on where to go and what it will cost me etc. As I said I am in UK but from what I have read it's best to go to US? Please help me, give me some advice, I could really use it right now. All comments welcome. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my appeal. J
