  1. It’s real patient reviews that I look at, not just the cherry picked ones from the clinic themselves. Or YouTube ones. Looking on a forum like this so you can actually follow someone’s journey is invaluable.

  4. You're a mutant with Wolverine's healing powers. Your donor looks virgin and that is the reason why one would pay extra for FUE vs. FUT. The new non-aggressive hairline is ridiculously natural and dense. I bet people you've known all your life that haven't seen you in 3 months wouldn't even know you've had anything done. You got us all wondering what your food/vitamin/topical treatment regimen is that allowed you to get such fast growth in such a short time. Awesome results man. Congrats!

  5. Price is not a huge issue for me and I am already expecting to spend whatever necessary to get a quality HT, I don't however want to spend more than necessary. For anyone who is familiar with Eugenix do the differences in quality of end result between these two options reflect the price difference? 1. Premium Package Cost of $2.86/graft*: Planning, designing and 100% slits are done by Dr Pradeep Sethi or Dr Arika Bansal. Complete involvement includes below; Designing the hairline, Crucial parts of extraction, Hairline implantation, Supervision o

  6. Unbelievable transplant of a grade 6 patient with such density and with a very good extraction from the donor area, without disturbing its dense look. http://www.eugenix.in

  7. Great, I'll bear that in mind so, thanks. I've received estimates and qoutes from several doctors now and what's interesting about him is that he said I'd need only 1,800 grafts, whereas other doctors have estimated 2,000 and some even 2,300 - 2,600. I found that kind of interesting although I'm not sure if it is any indicator of how good or bad a surgeon is.

  8. "Thin". Hahahaha. Your brother would be jealous of your hair right now. Your donor looks like you went into surgery with a chastity belt on; virgin. Hold on tight, ugly duckling phase is right around the corner. Take lots of pics now. Also, use two hands when taking that donor pic. Ends up being a more centered picture.

  9. I speak fluent Spanish and I’m a member of the Spanish forum (recuperartupelo) where there’s no real patient results from De Freitas and the most viewed thread about him is a thread comparing him with Dr. Ximena Villa. The Spanish forum is dominated by Dr. Bruno Pinto (Portuguese) and Dr. Ximena Villa (Spanish). You will be hard pressed to find any real patients from Couto or Dr Freitas. I have just seen 1 real patient results from Dr. Rafael De Freitas and since I don’t look at or comment YouTube, Social Media or Website results I can’t really say anything good or bad about Dr. De F

  10. Yes, triquim and temple points. Virgin areas with 100% growth. The problem was we didn't use enough grafts, I needed at least another 750 to achieve full density in the frontal third thus my results were good but not incredible. I also had a little over extraction on the right side of my donor which I had to repair with a few BHT grafts so again, not ideal but nothing major. I would recommend Couto to anybody. He is on a different league. All clinics have outstanding cases and some OK or bad cases, even the best ones. Sometimes there is scar tissue, poor blood flow, infection or other factors

  11. I agree, unfortunately not everyone has the economic possibilities to afford a top surgeon, if I have had a higher budget I would certainly not have gone to him, nor to Turkey.

  12. I know I’m 50/50 with how I feel about Dr Cinik. I get it’s a low cost hair mill. But with some really good results on occasion.

  14. Funnily enough not a single person other than the doctors and this forum know about the procedure. I suppose the unshaven option, choice of surgeon, and UK lockdown was the perfect combination. Even my parents & siblings were (and still are) unaware and I saw them 4-5 weeks post surgery. I have been very lucky with minimal shedding so I am guessing that has fast forwarded my perceived results by a few months. There's nothing out of the ordinary in regards to my regimen. For MPB, I use a Ketoconazole shampoo weekly, 0.5mg Finasteride daily, Minoxidil on the crown twice daily.

  15. Hair transplant surgeons know that beard hair must be grafted into the mid and vertex of the scalp, not in the front line, beware, if you go to Turkey in some pseudo clinic, the opposite could happen.

  18. Quit lying man. You don't know what is is to suffer from hair loss!! Just kidding. I am being facetious. Awesome results. Can you show the people what the FUT scar looks like?

  20. Hello everyone! I thought I’d share some photos as today marks 18 months which technically means that I’m at the end of my first HT’s journey. I do believe that my transplanted hair has continued to evolve throughout the entire process so far. Ive continued to let the top of my hair grow throughout the pandemic while keeping the sides short-ish. As short as I can keep it anyway. I’ve got quite a few pics to share. I suffered a pretty massive shed literally the week that I made my last update in July. I documented that so I’m going to share it as well as wet, outside in direct sunligh

  22. One of the best crown results, no question. But the rest of your head ain't half bad either! 😜

  23. Once again a relatively low number of grafts has gone a looooong ways. I would be tempted to stick 250 in each side of your hairline via fue. Thanks for posting your journey, it came out great.👍

  24. The temple points look very natural! I thought you just had some retrograde going on there until I saw the before pic.

  25. @JohnAC71Thank you. Yeah I'm curious to see if there's any more growth in the next 6 months. Will provide an update then but am very happy with how it is now. @LonelyGraft I didn't document it but it was at least 2000. That included my hairline as well as temples.

  26. Absolutely stunning result. And being a crown theoretically it could keep improving beyond the 12 month point.

  28. I'm not an expert or medical doctor but I call BS on this one. What does blood supply have to do with implanting in rows? My question to you and other doctor diep patients is...how long did it take him to do incisions? If he completes 2500 incisions in 30 mins or less I'm guessing he creates rows in an effort to save time. All my opinions of course (don't want to get banned again for giving it)

  31. Haha really? Small area to cover, and of course, there was nothing to look at back then, but yeah, big difference. Thanks god I had lots of multi grafts Btw went out today and look what I came up with: A bit of dermmatch, a bit of fibers, a bit of hair styling product and a bit of hair spray. Can't believe how good it looks.

  32. Of course man. Always willing to help. That is normal with the liquid. I use the foam which is much easier to apply (for me). I've heard others prefer the liquid because they say it is easier to apply (go figure). I apply about a golf ball size of foam to my scalp each time. I think I spend about 2-3 minutes at most on the effort. My hair characteristics is much like yours; we are both Asian. I'd imagine foam would work better for you. Others with thicker hair or afro hair may benefit from the liquid. I've been on Fin and Min since May 2020 (just 5 months). I use 1mg of the Dr. Reddy bran

  33. What would be the advantages and disadvantages of opting for Scalp micropigmentation over a hair transplant? I'd eventually like to grow my hair out. So wouldn't that mean that the longer hair would look unequal with the scar tissue if I wanted it to grow?

  34. Saw this post on another forum which I thought was a bit odd compared to what you say above(?) I had surgery with Couto My result was OK. Not fantastic but better than average. I had better yield with Feriduni, Mwamba and Vila I have 3 friends who have had surgery with Dr Couto. 2 are extremely unhappy (one of them had a horrible result) and the other one is satisified The amount of impressive work he does in non deniable #25 Mustang, May 6, 2020

  35. Hi @ArkaZyou can give a try for Finasteride but just be aware of the side effects, it can hurt your libido, I myself tried Finasteride 15 years ago and it didn't help me. I represent HDC clinic at Cyprus, I checked your photos, in the "short hair" photos it seemed you are NW3 class, I think we can cover it, you got a great donor, you are welcome to mail me on private with free consultant, also you can read at my HT journey at HDC by Dr. Maras, follow my FB group, ect... On this video we show a documentary and final result for an Asian paitent we had, notify that we use microscopes an

  36. Honestly, what shocks me is the amount of people who fall and pay for advice from someone who didn’t properly research to begin with, I could understand if his angle is don’t do what I did, but it seems he’s appointed himself as a guru. My angle is always don’t take my word for it, learn from real patients. Belonging to a community like this is vital, we’re not perfect, we have hit and run posters, schills, etc. But for the most part, we’re pretty damn good, best in the English speaking world I say this modestly, as I’ve been on virtually every other forum.

  37. Running two patients at the same time and having both done before 1 pm is an immediate disqualify. Also, farmers plant in rows to accommodate machinery for planting, watering, and harvest and for crop to spread roots more freely to either side. Has nothing at all to do with nutritional supply. He was talking out of his ass.

  38. Perhaps Diep is just strategic (or so he thinks) about where to invest his time and energy. If my patient was the moderator of this forum, I wouldn't want to mess up his head either! It just takes a few impressive results to post to the web. Consistency however is much more difficult to achieve.

  39. Please don't mention Keser. If it's indeed Muttalip Keser. I have so many double grafts in my hairline, he did a very terrible job to me. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT. Instead I recommend Hattingen

  40. Looks amazing man. I just had something similar done with Dr. Hasson a couple weeks before you. Wish you all the best during the recovery process. Make sure you take care of those precious grafts during the first week. Also, I wish someone would have told me. this - try to really enjoy the period from week 2 until the time you shed - it's a true testament to how you will feel after everything grows in. Hold onto that feeling because by week 4, you will likely shed and enter the ugly duckling phase - which is a huge buzz kill.

  43. The answer is it definitely does cause these issues, sometimes permanent just like Finasteride. My urologists and endo confirmed it. I don't know how the denial of sexual side effects can continue. There is no "other cause". It's not related to age, diet, smoking etc. Minoxidil is an anti-androgen that severely suppresses androgen receptors + 5ARII blocker and works just like Finasteride/Dutasteride. I don't understand why Bill's reluctant to accept this - he must have seen the dozens of posts complaining about Minoxidil sexual side effects on the Hair Loos Q&A Blog. Apart from that,

  44. If that's thin, then I'm a NW 8. Hang in there, the shed is a couple days away and you'll be looking worse than this for a couple months. Donor looks untouched.
