  1. Hi everyone, Thank you all for your feedback. I wanted to provide a quick update. Ultimately, I decided to return to Dr. Nadimi. After speaking with many doctors, I felt most comfortable with Dr. Nadimi. She is an ethical Dr. who cares greatly about her patients, she is there with you throughout the entire surgery which is important to me. She is super responsive to any questions or concerns as well and makes herself available to speak. My second choice was Hasson and Wong but I couldn't get as comfortable with them as I am with Nadimi. I had some frustrations with my hairline design

  2. Since getting my transplant, I’ve been to 2 different barbers. Neither have noticed that I had a transplant. I still haven’t gone back to my stylist of 10+ years. I’m waiting for the final result first. Her feedback is what I’ll use to benchmark the result. She’s brutally honest 😊. As far as how it looks coming out of the pool, I would refer to the pictures above with wet hair. Would look similar to that. I have not, however, been to the pool since my surgery. The hair in the frontal 1/3 has a different texture. This is especially noticeable in the first 6 rows. I don’t think it’s u

  5. A few months after my FUE DHT at EUGENIX in India on February 25, I finally take the time to share my experience on this Forum. me: Mr, 55 years old, NW4. on minoxidil for 25 years, I started to lose hair since age 30 years old. FUE of 3000 grafts The reasons why I chose EUGENIX: The choice of the surgeon was very difficult for me, with a lot of concern and questions about the procedures (manual or motorized extraction or ARTAS, DHI implantation, or not etc.) on the professionalism of the surgeons, and on the costs, and I will give the main reasons that made me choose EUGENIX clinic,

  6. Gotcha. I live in SolCal so it's basically always really sunny.. no hikes for a while, which is a bummer but that's fine .

  7. Here’s a question I’d like to see his opinion on. Does he subscribe to the belief that FUT first then FUE will allow for the greatest volume possible in harvesting available grafts?

  8. Hey, here's my journey and it sounds pretty close to what you're looking for. Let me know if you have any questions.

  9. Not a doctor but here is my thinking. If the med has a higher affinity (think higher magnetic ability) to bind to the androgen receptors then it will out-compete specific androgens whether it be t or dht. Just like dht has a higher affinity than t. So if the concentration is high enough, vehicle supports good absorption for the topical to get to where it needs, and the chemical has a higher affinity, then the dht just doesn’t get as much of a chance to bind to the androgen receptor and turn on genes within the cells to trigger cell apoptosis/inflammation/etc.

  10. That may be true, but i've been using minoxidil for over 5 years now, so if I see a boost, it will be because of the CB-03-01. By the way there was troll on here whom i've had to ban. I just want to make it clear, i'm in no way endorsing others to use this product. I'm not a doctor, and if it's off-label. I only want to share my journey.

  11. This patient started working as a Hair transplant technician with HDC in the beginning of 2016. His hairline was receding, and he wanted to make a hair transplant to restore it. Being a member of HDC Medical team he knew that the work performed is perfect. So, in September 2019 he proceeded with the surgery. We placed 2100 grafts and dense packed his hairline and temples. He does not have a bad history of hair loss, but he may lose density of the hair behind the transplanted ones in a few years. In which case he will need to cover those areas too. All patients visiting HDC

  14. That’s a tough one every man has to figure out for himself. Me, I do live with limitations, and the cost/graft for FUT on my first procedure made it the obvious choice, considering the coverage and density I was going for. With docs like Konior, FUE may not harvest that much less than FUT, but the strip is a nice, fat harvest. I needed less work than you and still felt FUT was the way to go. With the room you need to cover, I would def make choices that maximize harvest and yield. That means top docs and maybe even 2 strips before switching to FUE.

  15. Do you think I should look into FUE with my current hair loss? I didn't even consider FUE because of my aggressive hair loss.

  16. Dr. K is worth every dollar, period. You’ll need to do some soul-searching about FUT v. FUE, but Konior’s gonna do the best work money can buy.

  17. Yes this is referring only to the donor area. There is no difference in the two techniques after the extractions. The implantation of grafts is the same and both will look better with longer hair in the recipient area.

  18. The general population rarely notice mild to moderate balding - let alone a partially depleted donor zone! It's just us hyper obsessed baldies who can identify these minor imperfections - if you can even call them that, and the whole purpose of this thread was to actually point towards the community to analyse it with close up pictures! Of course we'l find something. A colleague at my work has what looks like fue punch holes all around what would be classed as his donor region - and I knew full well he wouldn't have had/hadn't had a hair restoration procedure - yet it intrigued me day

  19. Sorry to hear about this guys. It's a shame to see, and it certainly brings into light Dr McGraths reputation - because he has made some pretty strong claims via his videos with David Dimuzzio. 'I thought, oh my god I have found the cure to hair loss'. My suspicions started to be raised even further when the so called NW 7 miracle patient that they later showcased as a phenomenal responder to the treatment had literally grown his donor hair out by about an inch between his before and afters - and that was the golden example backing up their excitement. I understand the character and

  21. Here’s a question. Is it possible to replenish the donor with beard hair. I’ve heard some surgeons call this “donor-recharging” does Dr. Bisanga have any experience with this, if so what are his thoughts?

  22. Excellent choice if your thinking Eugenix! I was hoping you might find them upon further research. If you can I would stick to clinics where you can find real patient results and not just the cherry pic ones they will have on there website.

  23. Actually since making initial post I been researching...... Not looking good for Serkan Aygin. Maybe Turkey isnt the best choice. I can do Europe/Asia. North America is just too far for me. Im becoming interested in Eugenix. Gonna keep researching them. Could you guys advise me if I contact a clinic; what are the new type of technology methods that I should ask about to make sure they use? I really like results for Wesley Sneijder (Soccer player). Not sure if anyone seen it but I think its amazing. Upon simple google search I found that he had it done by Dr. Gho. However w

  24. Avoid Turkey if you can and just pay the extra money at a reputable clinic

  25. Please reconsider going to a “nice price” Turkey hair mill. You chose a really decent Dr last time. I know you mentioned affordability but there are much better options if you do some more research. Have you seen a dermatologist regarding your scalp flaking? They would be best to deal with this issue. You should not lose grafts from this. I suffer with the same.

  27. Are you sure you're phrasing this correctly? By this logic everyone should never use any hair loss treatments and go as bald as possible before their HT. That way the surgeon will have a really good idea of the "empty area."

  28. Firstly welcome to the forum and what better way than to show your excellent results. I really like the hairline and the height is perfect for your face. As others have said you still have a few more months at least to go so I look forward to further updates. Time to enjoy life! Thanks for sharing.

  30. Unfortunately I personally didn't take any pre-op photos myself before the surgery. I will have to ask the doctor to send me the ones he took in his office. Will do once he shares the photos with me. My first HT was done by Dr. AP, New Delhi, India.

  32. Hi all.. thanks for the support.. with regard to @Roman1973.. I'll give one response and then respectfully request you refrain from participating on my thread thereafter.. As I've previously mentioned the only sexual sides I've ever experienced from my micro dosing of finasteride have been positive ones.. Equating finasteride use to automatically being doomed to becoming impotent into the future is quite frankly ridiculous.. Thank you for noticing my "quite good" result thus far... You've an eye for a good HT 😊 Id prefer to nip this Finasteride debate in the bud and appe

  33. You look great. You look unremarkable in that you appear as if you never had a hair transplant! I agree with Nelson that you should try finasteride to keep what native hair that you currently have. I look forward to further updates. Congratulations!

  36. Honestly, chalk up the $1000 deposit to research purposes and switch to Hasson. Remember, you only get one donor so if Diep implants in the cornrow grid-like pattern and you are unhappy with the result, then you have to have a repair. Thus, spending way more than the initial deposit but more importantly using more grafts unnecessarily that could have been used if you need more work in the future to due MPB progression. Read through the recent comments on Diep threads and that should highlight why many are unhappy with his work and some even with his ethics.

  39. Hey @Melvin-Moderator, I was looking at the article you posted on your website: https://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/what-does-the-illusion-of-density-mean-for-hair-transplants-/3275, and was wondering what exactly this '"layering and feathering" would look like. Would there happen to be any examples of layered/feathered hairstyles or unlayered/unfeathered ones just to illustrate your point? I had my HT 2 years ago and wore a hair system the entire time it was growing in. Just got rid of the system on Sunday and am sharing the photos of my pre-op, immediate po
