  5. Norwood 2 is not bad at all, seems like maybe it’s your perception, how old are you? Usually it’s young guys who think like that.

  6. Dr Sethi, there are other doctors that mentioned finasteride may cause issues with beard and body hairs. I was told not to take it by Dr Umar. ISHRS also mentioned something similar- Source of screenshot: https://ishrs.org/patients/treatments-for-hair-loss/medications/finasteride/ Does it impact slowing down growth cycles? Thanks for your response.

  8. I have adopted my own way. The pen is easy I just use it in areas until they are red. straight lines, circles doesn't really matter to me. The Roller is simple as well. 10 times over an area. I do it 3 times per area. Vertical, horizontal and diagonal.

  9. Here you go. Donor has been perfect from week 2 so I don’t really think about it. Clipper length started at .5 and went up from there.

  10. Is it just harder to determine the correct angle to place the hair? How many of each type of BHT for those 2500? Was the BHT caliber close to your scalp hair?

  11. 1 month post-op (second donor BHT repair) Not looking great. Patience

  12. Point number 3 is addressing the natural direction of the graft. Regardless, I have implanted over 2.500 BHT in my scalp and I can't even tell which are which

  13. Depends on the caliber of the hair as well. If you take finasteride, then it is not be an option to utilize beard or body hair due to shedding. the growth cycles are different if it yields in general. In general, the yield isnt that of scalp hair. May be good to fill in strip scars or some crowns etc. Growth and yield are entirely different with some surgeons too that extract beard and other hairs. If you really need it, go with a surgeon that has success with it in minimal grafts utilization. Example Dr A may only require 2000 grafts, Dr B may require 4000 grafts, Dr C & D m

  14. Can you explain why "3. The beard hair tend to stick away from each other."?

  15. Good points, I have always found it interesting that beard hair seem to settle away from each other. That could help with creating volume though esp when used a filler

  16. Just for shits and giggles, thought I'd share crown. Hasn't budged much. But i started using Spectral DNC along with Minox so we'll see. Good news is there seems to be quite a bit of hairs there, so maybe they just need to thicken up a little?

  17. Dr Konior doesnt require it either, or at least he didn't on my 2 x FUE. The daily checkups took care of it.

  20. Just want you all to know I asked Melvin to remove my thread mostly due to my own anxieties. You all have been awesome to talk to and have shared valuable information with me. It just made me too anxious every time i saw a new person comment on the state of my donor region. I will try to update you all in the future. ✌️

  21. Hello, My hair loss has completely stopped and even reversed on my crown. I lose maybe one or two hairs in the shower from 50 for the last 9 months. I tried finasteride orally. Bad sides. I tried finasteride topically, even worse sides. The worse I ever had. I purchase 3 month supply. Apply once a week

  22. I especially like that you took to heart my comment on convenience. You said that you have family near MHTA, that would save you what, $700 in lodging? Peace of mind > Convenice/$700 Keep us posted!

  23. Excellent choice. Pretty sure hw and Dr diep charge the same too, and the results aren't really comparable imo.

  24. Personally, I don't think it really affects the hair growth at all. Maybe skin iritation because the skin is still healing and vulnerable. After my headwash on the 8th day, I used to freely run around in the scorching August heat in India. And my hair grew fine. However, to be careful, you can avoid prolonged exposure of skin to harsh sunlight and chemicals for a month at the most. Using a good sunscreen can be a blessing.

  25. Sorry I'm a little late on posting my monthly update, but the pictures were taken on Sunday at exactly 7 months. Oddly enough, I feel like my result has regressed over the past month. There are a few places on my hairline, particularly on the left side and in the middle, that are suddenly looking quite sparse. Not sure if I've lost transplanted hair, or if this is an illusion due to my hair being longer. Haven't noticed any abnormal shedding events, and I'm a model patient (taking fin, dut and shampooing with Nizoral). Have taken a bunch of photos in all sorts of conditions - wet hair, partial

  26. Surely the SMP is the best solution to hide the FUE scars, we have treated many in our studio:
