  1. Hi everybody, I'm relatively new to these forums and to considering getting a HT but after growing tired of wearing a hair replacement system for the past 2 years, it is now something I'm debating. I am based in the UK and so far I've had consultations with the Hair Dr (UK) and Hair of Istanbul (Turkey). After seeing some posts on here I've contacted Asmed and H&W for consultations but with so many options and so many different choices I'm finding it really challenging to know which clinics are reputable and have proven expertise. Can anybody suggest any other clinics that are w

  2. There are forums, which are not forums, but real businesses that are paid handsomely by many clinics or surgeons on conditions that are promoted compared to others, in what way? By deleting the threads of discontented patients of their procedures and also the patients are banned from one day to the next, without letting anyone know, the patient only realizes that he can no longer access the forum, this does not happen on HNR. Private posts between members are prohibited on these forums, it doesn't happen on HRN. On these forums it is forbidden to mention other forums or post links that link

  3. @ciaus I appreciate your opinion/2cents. I agree that my input isn't helping the original poster very much at this moment. My apologies if my response came off harsh or unempathetic. I've been around the hair transplant industry for awhile now and just feel concern about how certain clinics are treating their patients. It just hits a nerve seeing all these more recent Diep cases where there are obvious shortcuts taken that leave the patients in less than optimal condition after their procedure. I am only trying to warn other potential patients that would be reading this thread that it isn

  4. When you come to extract the 750-1000 extra later on from the donor, how will the doc know which are native scalp grafts, and which are BHT - or are you just replenishing specific zones at the moment, so they will be able to extract from an area knowing it hasn't be touched with BHT? Also, do you take any preventative medication?

  6. I love your thread because it let's me know what things are going to look like a few days into my future haha. One interesting thing is- the back of my head has lots of big hard bumps that my hair is definitely not covering. Yours doesn't seem to. Did you have them, and they just go away really quickly in a few days?

  7. Confusion! There are two types of loss. The type you see and the type you don't see. The type you see is normal shedding. The follicle gets tired of producing hair and it takes a vacation. This dormant period can take a few months. You shed the hair. Eventually the hair returns. This will happen to every single hair in your head at different intervals and randomly. So, when you see hair in the shower, sink, floor or pillow, relax. You already know this hair will return. Hair loss is different. Under a bright light look at the hair in your temporal areas. Notice the shaft

  8. Sadly I'm down to one surgical cap, but it should be enough to get me by. I actually did find a hat I can use that won't touch my grafts- gonna line it with the surgical cap just in case. Otherwise, today is going to be spent soaking the area and just praying I can get as much off as possible. Wish me luck! And thanks again to everyone in the thread for the help!

  9. Spent a lot of time doing that today. Made some progress, but this stuff is caked on hard. Going to get back to it tomorrow. And yeah the travel dates just sucked. It's work, so there wasn't much I could do about it.

  10. Personal experiences, good and bad, are great to share, some of the primary reasons we all come here, but can't say I agree with dropping yours in this thread at this point @ruca2 Only days after there's nothing he can do but wait regardless, which is hard enough. Maybe you already started a thread somewhere back when you had your procedure/experience, if so great -that's the better way to get that information out. And if you are offering it in somebody else's thread it should be to warn them about not getting the work done with that doctor in the first place, or after they a

  11. Thanks for the answer! The problem is, I only lose short hair. I lose about 30 short hairs a day, and only 1 or 2 long hairs. This is normal? Note: English is not my main language, some things I wrote here can be confusing, sorry!

  12. Bruh, for us other more recent MHTA patients, ignorance is bliss! Don't even hint at this or we'll go and search out those threads and trip out even more. We'll just wait for the results.

  13. It looks like scabbing that just softened because of the water. I wouldn't be too concerned.

  15. Thats completely normal. Even if you lose 100 haur strands everyday its okay. The length of the hair does not matter. Even if you keep short hair, the hair will go through the hair cycle.

  16. The Fue technique, is not an old technique like Fut, so there are not many long-term experiences, on other forums, I have read of users who complain of transplanted hair loss after about two years, these discussions are "controlled" by the administrators of these forums, even with the elimination of "convinced" users, this is because there is impressive business around hair transplantation and the clinics together with those corrupt forums have no interest in talking about it because many people would therefore avoid having a hair transplant.
