I’ve been a long-term user of different hair care products over the years, but now I want to find something that actually works better in the long run. Before posting here, I already did quite a bit of research on multiple platforms. I spent time reading discussions on forums and especially checking what people are saying on Reddit. I also looked through many user reviews to see real experiences rather than advertisements.</p><ul><li><p><a rel="external nofollow" href="https://familypicker.com/aromatica-root">AROMATICA Root Enhancer Rosemary water spray for hair</a></p></li><li><p><a rel="external nofollow" href="https://familypicker.com/roselyn-boutique">ROSELYNBOUTIQUE Derma Roller for Hair</a></p></li></ul><p>A lot of users say they’ve had decent results with them, which is why they caught my attention during my research. Just to be clear, I’m not here to promote anything. These products simply have a lot of reviews and discussions online, and I’m still trying to decide what might be the best option. If anyone here has personal experience or honest suggestions, I’d really appreciate hearing your thoughts before I make a decision. Hi everyone,
</p>

<p>
	I’m seriously considering getting a hair transplant this year and wanted to ask about the typical costs involved.
</p>

<p>
	I've seen prices vary wildly depending on the clinic, location, and method (<abbr title="Follicular Unit Extraction">FUE</abbr> vs. <abbr title="Follicular Unit Transplant">FUT</abbr>), so I’m a bit confused.
</p>

<p>
	Could anyone share what they paid or were quoted recently in 2025, especially in the US, Turkey, or India?
</p>

<p>
	Are there hidden costs I should watch out for like consultations or aftercare?
</p>

<p>
	Any insights or personal experiences would be super helpful.
</p>

<p>
	I’m trying to budget realistically before moving forward.
</p>

	My <abbr title="hair transplant"><abbr title="hair transplant">HT</abbr></abbr> surgeon suggested I take Biotin.  I was hesitant since Biotin deficiencies are rare. I decided to take it anyway.  (I do not know if the doctor supports me taking sublingual (vs the capsule).  I will ask him when I get a chance.
</p>

<p>
	I sometimes get an upset stomach when I take the capsule.  So, I began taking biotin sublingual solution and I'm having no side effects thus far.  And, since it's sublingual I've read that it absorbs well.  (This solution also has collagen in it.)  Some companies make Biotin gummy bears too.  Anyway, this is just fyi.  It may be worth researching further.     <a href="https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FJQ32BG?ref=fed_asin_title&amp;th=1" rel="external nofollow">https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FJQ32BG?ref=fed_asin_title&amp;th=1</a>
</p>

<p>
	PS) You can add the drops to a glass of water instead -- if you prefer not to take it sublingually.

	<span style="font-size:16px;">Hi Guys,</span>
</p>

<p>
	<span style="font-size:16px;">I will be documenting my 6-month natural approach to hair loss and results (if any). I'll only be using natural compounds with “scientific data” (conflicting studies at best and poor studies at worse) on this experiment. </span>
</p>

<p>
	<span style="font-size:16px;">My goals are a modest thickening of my existing transplanted grafts and remaining native hair on both midscalp and crown. All of the front middle is transplanted so I don’t expect much change there.</span>
</p>

<p>
	<span style="font-size:16px;">I will start with topical Saw Palmetto 20% / Trichoxidil 2.5% for 3 months. I will apply 2ml EOD as I don’t wash my hair daily and use fibers which I don't like to wash daily.</span>
</p>

<p>
	<span style="font-size:16px;">After the first 3 months I will add microneedling at 1mm deepth with Saw Palmetto 16% (3ml) once a week with Pumpkin Seed Oil 20% and Trichoxidil 2.5% for another 3 months and assess while continuing with Trichometto. 3ml of this formula will deliver 480mg of Saw Palmetto and 600mg of Pumpkin Seed Oil directly (or close) to the follicle so it’s a big dose.</span>
</p>

<p>
	<span style="font-size:16px;">After this point I’ll see if I’ll add others compounds such as IGrantine-F1, Gingko Biloba, Caffeine or Melatonin. I have responded to Laser Level therapy in the past (modest thickening) so I am hoping this will do something.</span>
</p>

<p>
	<span style="font-size:16px;">Note this treatment is best suited for hair transplant veterans, diffuse thinners and works best on the mid scalp and crown from anecdotal reports and a couple of friends that have had success with it. All of them are above 30 years of age and did not want to take medication. This is NOT a suitable treatment for aggressive MPB, if you are in your early 20’s and receding I don’t believe this will do anything for you.</span>
</p>

<p>
	<span style="font-size:16px;">I am allergic to Minoxidil (got dermatitis from it and lost a lot of hair due to it) and have low blood pressure so oral Minoxidil is not an option either. It’s Trichoxidil or nothing for me for growth stimulation.</span>
</p>

<p>
	<span style="font-size:16px;">I had sides with Finasteride (Gyno, low test, brain fog and ED) which thankfully subsided but I will not be taking that either. Natural DHT blockers, high doses and transdermal delivery.</span>
</p>

<p>
	<span style="font-size:16px;">Should this fail, I will hop back on either Topical Dutasteride or Topical Finasteride.</span>
</p>

<p>
	<span style="font-size:16px;">Pictures will be uploaded once a month taken with natural light from the window with flash with both wet and dry hair at a similar length.</span>
</p>

<p>
	<span style="font-size:16px;">I hope this is useful (if successful at all) for those whom can't tolerate 5AR but want to do something to protect their hair.</span>
</p>

<p>
	<span style="font-size:16px;">I'll be using Trichosol as a vehicle for all formulas.</span>
</p>

<p>
	<span style="font-size:16px;">Day 1 Dry</span>

	Hi guys, not been on here for a while but just wanted to share something that I found helped by hair so may be of benefit to others.
</p>

<p>
	So my hair situation isn't too bad, I'm early 30s and about an NW2-2.5. About a year ago however I noticed a pretty drastic decrease in the overall health and quality of my hair. Over the course of a few months my hair went from looking just fine, albeit slightly receded, to now looking really quite bad. My hair was weak, thin, dry etc and especially the sides of my head were looking extremely sparse. I almost looked like I'd had an overharvested <abbr title="Follicular Unit Extraction">FUE</abbr> despite never having a transplant. I also remember when I shaved the sides short, my scalp had scaly red marks and it frankly just looked flat out awful.
</p>

<p>
	I remember looking online and everything just seemed to point to good old MBP but my situation just didn't seem to fit with everything I was seeing. I came across a post on reddit where a guy said taking vitamin D helped him so I thought I may as well give it a try. Although I've never had my levels tested, I live in the UK so it wouldn't be much of a surprise if they were a little low.
</p>

<p>
	So I bought a year's supply of Vitamin D(4000 IU). I didn't expect much but at one month in I already noticed an improvement, my hair was looking a little better and I already started to worry less about it. Two months in and my hair was noticeably thicker and healthier, my hair no longer felt dry and lifeless. By three months my hair was probably back to 95% of how it was beforehand and in the months that followed my hair has stabilised and remained thick and healthy.
</p>

<p>
	Obviously this will only help if you have a vitamin D deficiency and isn't a cure for MPB but if you've noticed a steep decline in the overall quality of your hair then maybe it's something worth trying. The Vitamin D I bought has Vitamin K2 combined with it as Google told me you need to pair the two together or something. I also started taking a generic multivitamin at the same time but I'm pretty sure it's the Vitamin D that did all the work.
</p>

<p>
	Anyway, I hope that helps someone.
</p>

	Hi,
</p>

<p>
	I've recently had a hair transplant in Turkey and he recommended further PRP courses when back in the UK.
</p>

<p>
	Prices vary wildly from £150 a session to £450! Does it really matter who I choose? I took a lot of time choosing my transplant surgeon but can PRP go wrong/be done poorly?
</p>

<p>
	There are a few UK transplant clinics that offer reasonable sessions.

	Hello Friends,
</p>

<p>
	Some background about me: I am in my early 40s. I am slightly over-weight and almost 5.10Ft in height. I recently have been given a clean bill of health based on my recent medical exam. I live and work in Asia. I have noticed in recent years that the hair on my crown has been growing shorter in length and i have noticed thinning in my frontal forehead areas and temples.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I have visited several hair loss specialists in my home city. All of them have used a mechanic microscope to examine the conditions of my scalp at 200x times (I have attached pictures for your reference).
</p>

<p>
	All have diagnosed my stage of hair loss at at Stage 3A or 3V and all of said I am not a candidate for Hair Transplant, not yet at least.
</p>

<p>
	From examining my scalp, they have found my scalp is oily and the pores are blocked or clogged from oily sebum secretions mixed with sweat, air pollutants, etc. The blocked or clogged pores are stunting any further hair follicle growth at the scalp surface. They recommended I should consider using targeted shampoo and conditioner products that targets and cleans my oily scalp that removes all impurities and nourishes my scalp with much needed vitamins, natural extracts and stimulants to stimulate healthy hair follicle regrowth that is sustainable. The specialists also noticed some of my hair pores have been closed and that they postulated that the hair bulbs are intact but the hair follicles are dormant underneath the pores or skins. The specialists recommended I should use targeted hair growth serums that stimulates the dormant hair follicles to wake up and regrow.
</p>

<p>
	The specialists did not recommend me which products I should use as they explained there are many in the marketplace and that I should conduct my own research.
</p>

<p>
	I have researched using Amazon and shortlisted various products that I could consider (also attached to this post)
</p>

<p>
	<br />
	Can anyone guide me which products I should short-select in the near term top begin using, bearing in mind the exact type of natural extracts or ingredients I need to target the issues for my scalp and to stimulate the dormant hair follicles and existing follicles for new hair growth going forward?
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Thanks
</p>

<p>
	Jack

	It's known that this combo decrease a little DHT about 25% in blood (while saw palmetto do not alone - it decrease DHT only in prostate) while not increasing too much Estradiol but I don't see feedback from users :
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#2a3c42;font-size:14px;">
	<strong>Is 25% not too low for effictiveness for just maintain hairs ?</strong>
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#2a3c42;font-size:14px;">
	As I was getting sides even with 0.025% topical finasteride 3x/week (wich dcrease DHT by about 34%), maybe 25% could be interesting?

	I wanted to share my short story here. About 2 years ago at age 22 my first signs of hair loss had shown, I experienced hair thinning on my entire head and some loss, though minimal, mostly major miniaturization, but it was noticeable.
</p>

<p>
	After much research and thought I decided to risk it and give Saw Palmetto 550 mg a chance before trying anything more serious (like fin/min), to see how I would react. I've also linked some cropped pictures of laboratory test results below that were taken.
</p>

<p>
	The picture with the highest DHT of almost 3300 PG/ML was in September of 2020, up to this point I was only experimenting with natural topical solutions, and although for example the Jamaican castor oil I was using helped to prevent further loss, it didn't help with the hair density so I wanted to try something else.
</p>

<p>
	The second picture of 1890 PG/ML was after 2 months of Saw Palmetto 550mg x2 a day, started using it in Jan/Feb of this year and did the lab result in March, and the third lab test is from the month of May, after introducing Stinging Nettle Root tea once a day in tandem with Saw Palmetto, from March to May, it completely stabilized and was within normal range. Just for experimental purposes I stopped using both SP/SNR for about a month and a half and wouldn't you know it, DHT levels started rising again, who'd have thought? <span><img alt=":)" data-emoticon="" height="20" src="//media.invisioncic.com/o278943/emoticons/smile.png" srcset="//media.invisioncic.com/o278943/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" title=":)" width="20" /></span><span> </span>
</p>

<p>
	<span>I quickly got back on the regime again and it stabilized.</span>
</p>

<p>
	Regarding Saw Palmetto I only had "side effects" for the first few days where erections were very weak, after that everything went back to normal and I haven't experienced any side effects, neither from SP nor Stinging Nettle Root.
</p>

<p>
	People did comment that they see a big difference from a couple of months and now regarding my hair, though I'm not satisfied yet. Though I can definitely see a lot less hairs fall out now when I stroke through my hair, It used to be 10-15, now it's 2-5 hairs, so I legit think it's worth a try before going on any meds, but I think it will take a long time to see improvement, still, I halted all further hair loss.
</p>

	Has Anyone Else Had Success With Hemp CBD Oil?
</p>

<p>
	Just my quick backstory: A<span style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#0a0a0a;font-size:14px;">fter initially employing CBD Oil as part of a night time, anti-aging facial routine, I noticed what appeared to be new hairs sprouting from the top of my head, near to where I had been applying the serum. At the same time surprised and excited, I decided to see what would happen if I applied CBD Oil daily to my scalp, would I indeed see my Thinning Hair come in thicker and fuller, could CBD Oil potentially be used to Stop Hair Loss and potentially even help assist to Regrow Hair? These are all questions I am currently still trying to answer, in the meantime I have decided to track the results by taking daily video shots of my hair to track its health, thickness, progression and regrowth. And from what I can tell my hair does seem to be coming in thicker and fuller including in the crown area and on top of my head, where thinning was already far advanced and balding very apparent. Let me know what you think of my results so far after about 5 Months of applying Hemp CBD Oil to my scalp once in the evening before bed: </span>
