Considering 1200 Graft FUE HT

I started noticing hair loss in the temple area when I was 18. I am now 26, and I plan on undergoing a 1200 graft FUE hair transplant with Dr. Konior in Chicago this summer. I have been on Rogaine for 3 years and finasteride for 10 months, but I have not noticed any change in the amount of hairs I lose each day. I realize this is a young age for a HT, and that I will likely need another one in the future. My father had a similar hairline at my age, and now at 65 his hair looks similar to mine except the strip down the center is one inch wide. He has little to no crown loss. My question for the forum is:

Do you think that 1200 grafts in the temporal region will be significantly noticeable to people I see on a regular basis? Or will I be able to disguise the change by letting my hair grow out a bit for a year?
