I just wanted to ask if I am at the right stage to go for a HT. As you can see in the photos I have lost sufficient hair in my frontal region and so wanted to ask if it is the right stage to go for a HT. Please find my details below.

• My age is 28 yrs.
  
• I am taking medicine (which has no side effects prescribed by doctor Dr. Shahid Shamsher in Bangalore) from the past 2.5 years. But I am not seeing much improvement in the hair growth. Can someone tell me at what stage I am currently in? The hair fall count is approximately 40 to 50 per day (sometimes more). When I started taking medicine 2.5 yrs back, the doctor told that I was in stage 4 and that I was losing it from almost 4 yrs. So, the hair loss is from nearly 6.5 yrs if the doctor is correct.
  
• My skin is oily and doctor mentioned that I have a lot of sebum secretion due to which he asked me to take hair bath everyday which I am following. Is this fine or Is that leading to more hair loss?
  
• Both my father and brother have lost hair. So, it is MPB.
  
• The doctor recently told that I am in the right stage to go for a HT. But, I am not convinced.
  

Can anyone suggest any other good doctor in Bangalore whom I can consult?
