3 month post op -Dr Rahal

So it's been just over 3 months since my FUE procedure with Dr. Rahal I am beginning to see a little growth in the recipient area along the hairline. Over the next few months I should begin to see alot of change, up to about to 50% of the final density. Will keep you posted.

2 month post-op - Dr. Rahal

It's been 2 months since my FUE procedure. Back to my native hairline since all the donor follicles have shed. Look forward to new growth, it looks like there may be some already. Donor area has recovered nicely.

1 month Post-Op - Dr. Rahal

So, it's been exactly one month since my FUE procedure with Dr. Rahal. As expected, at week 3 the shedding of the transplanted follicles began. Now it appears about 90% of the transplanted follicles have shed, as you can see my original hairline in the photos. The scalp in the reciepent area has regained most of its sensation, yet is still a bit pink. Hopefully a good sign as bloodflow is needed in the area. Donor area is filling in nicely and has healed well. Now a two-month wait befo

Just over 2 weeks post-op - Dr. Rahal

It has been just over 2 weeks since my FUE procedure and the grafts have started to shed. The donor area is healing nicely, with a bit of itchiness and redness which should subside within the next 4-5 days. Enter the ugly-ducking phase. Happy to report no complications with the healing process, and looking forward to resuming my normal exercise regimen sometime in t

Back in LA

It's been one week since my procedure with Dr. Rahal. Recovery is coming right along. I'm taking it easy for one more week, to make sure I don't disturb my beautiful grafts. Almost all of the swelling has subsided from the recipient area, and I can move my forehead again. Anxiously awaiting the ugly duckling period. The only sad thing is that the weather in LA is gorgeous and I can't go out in the sun for 3 months. Oh well...

April 18, 2013 - The first day of the rest of my life.

Woke up early and headed to Dr. Rahal's office around 6:30am. I was enthusiastically awaiting my hairline consultation and proposed plan of attack. Upon arrival, I first met with Mike, the head technician and a patient coordinator. We walked into a room and took before photos to document. Then I was introduced to Dr. Rahal and we chatted about the goal. I wanted an aggressive hairline, FUE procedure and as many grafts as possible, as I'm sure most men considering the procedure would. Choosing Dr. Rahal - Hairline Superstar

After much consideration and narrowing to down to three top HT surgeons around the globe, I decided to have my procedure done by Dr. Rahal. I had spoken with his UK patient advisor Matt over the phone, who had recently had his procedure performed by Dr. Rahal as well, and in less than a week I was on a plane from Los Angeles to Canada to. I had arrived a day before the scheduled meeting with the doctor, so I could be well rested. I took a cab from the airport and stayed at the Brookline Gu
