Started losing in the 80's, mainly a receding hairline. In the early 90's saw an ad in the Chicago Tribune for hair restoration by Elliot-Thomas medical, so I went in for an evaluation. Very impressed with Dr. Thomas, who turned out to be a sociopath and a totally incompetent surgeon putting in "mini-grafts", which I still have to this day. After 6 years of small strip surgeries, my donor was gone, my remaining thinning hair in the crown disappeared, and my hair looked horrible. Hid under a hat the whole time, and often still do, but my situation has turned around since I found out about Dr. Umar in late 2007. Had my first repair with him in 2010 and recently had my fourth repair with him in Sept. of 2012. Have had over 5000 beard grafts added in front, and it has worked wonders. So glad that Dr. Umar decided he wanted to repair the disfiguring surgeries of a barbaric era in hair transplantation.
