widescar's Hair Loss Story

I had 2 hair transplant procedures. One in 2005 and one in 2008. I was told that they put in 1000 grafts in 2005. It was done to fill in the hair line. I was still unhappy with the density, so I went in a second time in 2008 to the same physician. I was told that another 1500 grafts would give me a full head of hair. I decided to go through with a second procedure. My hair sticks up and I can see the thinness of my scalp on the top of my head. I was told that the hairs needed to be inserted on a forward angle to make them lay down. Also the scar in the back of my head is 8mm wide. I was told that it should be no wider than 1 or 2mm. I thought they told me that they gave me 1500 grafts in 2005, and 2000 grafts in 2008. I can't find any proof of that at the moment, so I will have to take their word for now. I have expressed my displeasure to Dr. Giannotto's sales representative. I finally went in to meet with him. He told me how he was envious of me because I had so much more hair than he did and that I have so much more doner area. He walked behind me and barely examined me, and told me that my scar is not even noticeable. I told him that I had an 8mm scar and when my hair is wet it is noticeable. I explained to him how the hair was inserted sticking straight up and that I have to use gel, wear a wet rag on my head or wear a hat to make my hair lay down before I go out somewhere. He said that my hair dresser can train my hair to lay down. My hair dresser told me that I can't train my hair to lay down permanately. All I can do is use hair products and it would be a temporary solution. I told him that the hair line is too perfect, and I look like I had a hair transplant. He said that Dr. Giannotto pioneered a new procedure called FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction). He can take one hair at a time out of the back of my head, and insert it in the hairline to help make it look more natural. I've been through 2 procedures with this guy, and now they want me to come back for a third procedure to fix something that should have been done correctly the first time. At least that is what I'm thinking. I'm sure there are much better surgeons out there. What should I do? Any suggestion?
