I've been looking at this blogs for many years now but I never put any input which I'm sad to say, but now I can tell my story!
I'm now 30 and started loses my hair about about 20 and my dad is fully bald and all my uncles,my older brothers were all on the way so I knew I needed to look and research in my options!
In 2006 at the age of 26 and after a year of research I decided to book in with Dr Ron Shapiro, 2749 grafts I got in the frontal area.
Three days after post op my brother and I decided to go to Las Vegas for a holiday, such a long story but ill try to make it short!
Day 7 post op I was taken to A&E (long story no drugs,alcohol etc) while I was there I asked the doctor if my staples were ok to come out, he agreed and started to rip each and every one out without cutting them in half first, probably the most painful thing I every had done! The doctor in las Vegas hospital was a animal and destroyed my scar! Spoke to Janna in Shapiro's office afterwards and she told me that may effect me which it did! One thing I can say for sure is that Janna is the best person with a large heart.
I now live in Australia and needed to get more grafts and do some scar revision, I could nt take the time of work to go back to the states so I decided after alot of research to Dr Path in Thailand. He repaired my scar and still got out 2410 grafts, I'm now on day 8 and and very happy with the results.
Both Dr Shapiro and Dr Path are just the best! Sorry for my spelling as I'm just writing via my iPhone.
